Only correction I can think of is cthulhus relation to the town of innsmouth, Dagon is more of the progenitor of what happens to the town. Just didn't want people reading the story and end up disappointed by the lack of Cthulhu.

Fun fact, there is no known connection between the name of Shub-Niggurath and a similar-sounding racist word, it is far more likely that Lovecraft was using the Latin word for “black” as a base, black the color, the literal color black, so no, as much as it may sound like a very loaded and similar-sounding word, there is no causal relationship between Shub-Niggurath’s name and the other similar-sounding word that is known. The only basis we have to go off of is that Lovecraft was a white supremacist and believed in assimilation, but I’m here to tell you that correlation doesn’t equal causation and that it is far more likely to be referring to another thing entirely, the name for the color black in Latin, and yes, that is where the roots for the word that I will mention but never say are in, it comes from the Latin word for black, which is likely why it sounds so similar to Shub-Niggurath’s name.
