Behind The Servants: Tiamat 

I've never really read that much into Mesopotamian creation myths, so it's nice to have them a bit highlighted here.

So, Tiamat was the equivalent of a mother spanking her bratty child for doing something wrong, rather than wanting them to die. And then she got stabbed in the chest, chopped up into pieces and was used to make stuff. That's pretty tragic.

I love how her small myth has always been interpreted and expanded upon as a Mother of beasts that wanted revenge against her children. Considering she was being pushed to it by the new gods in her myth. Favorite one I've seen with Bahamut as the father of dragons, and Tiamat as the mother that had to be struck down in some fiction.

Happy Mother's Day all! Tiamat is by far my favorite of ALL the beast servants and my MOST WANTED servant in fgo. When Arcade got her, I was crushed and saddened. However, when I saw we were collabing with Arcade and getting Tiamat as a servant. I was so over the moon with joy! Then knew what servant I wanted in 2025 for NA!
