wow ! stunning timepiece Bovet makes unique designs but most are too fancy but this design is well balanced and more classic looking . really good job thanks
i imagine a museum in the future, say 150 years from now, people will be amazed of this kind of timepieces, perhaps they can't reproduce it so well and why not they could be may be jealous of our time!
I don t like it yes it looks like i don t know .you Can put a price you like but a watch is made to read time ,clearly ,with date no more ,but some people in the market would like to make much money.it looks like they want to compete with the biggest brand just through a single idea,i don t the price but i m looking for may be to buy a Daytonan ,a submariner,a gmt and some with the same money spend on this ?????i say no thank you
As much as I'm in love with this watch I have to agree with the bullshit factor in his interviews. It detracts from his achievements. It's possible to reach this level of precision and express passion without the vacuous hard sell - eg Mr Forsey is good.
A stunning piece of engineering. This timepiece ouses character and individuality, a genuine investment in time workmanship and monetary value. It is hard for anything modern to even compete on the same level as this for style. Let's face, if the modern watch stops because the battery needs replacing, this beauty, will still work by the shake of a wrist or a turn of the winder. Excellent video. Thank you
When you started with "one of the most if not the most fantastic watches of 2016" I was like, come on stop exaggerating. But you're right, that watch is fantastic.
Until yesterday I was only very vaguely aware of the name Bovet, but when I searched for World Time watches a Bovet came up and that was it....I NEED at least one Bovet in my collection. Most so-called luxury watches like gold Rolexes, Audemars Piguet etc are mass produced, Bovet offers real hand crafted luxury, occasionally at prices which don't mean selling organs.
The beauty and finesse behind this piece is stunning. I am amazed at the source of the inspiration of this time piece. Something as simple as the desk is just unthinkable but they manage to put it into angled face. I learned a lot from this. Amazing. Thank you for the video and making this channel, God bless.
Pascal here explains the motivation of this timepiece. More than just an engineering exercise, he has given its design and execution meaning. Beautiful chronometry, indeed!
Wow! Thanks for another fabulous video Marc! What an incredulously amazing feast of horological awesomeness Bovet have presented us with. The innovation and quality is simply beyond mere words!
This is my favourite watch! I just love it so much! Too bad I'm not rich yet so it will be gone before I will be able to afford it :-( (if ever). nevertheless a beautiful speech given and a great video as always! Cheers
Am normally not one for 'complicated' looking watches, but this is truly something else. Breathtaking, for sure. Without wishing to appear (too) vulgar, any indication of the price?
Satisfying projection of the Earth on this timepiece. Bold, and gives it real world accuracy. Ahead of the rest, it ensures that whoever owns this piece will be proud to wear it for many years to come! :)
It could be done, but I have to ask: why? I know various parts of certain watches rotate that way (sky charts, some tourbillons, some globes), but having the hands rotate backwards would just be confusing.
There's been a few exemples of these kind of watches, but it just for the "artistic" exercice, because as you say it's really confusing. I had one myself when I was teenager (had to do things differently obviously...).
