Amazing photos. Anyway, on your latest posts, I saw you’re mostly using Fuji now and just recently the R6. What are the things you like and don’t like about the S5 for photography and why’d you switch?
Hey buddy amazing shots! I just came from x-s10 to s5 ii. I have noticed that on portrait size on screen with all text information do not rorate it still at same position as on width. It do not support that feature that text with all info on lcd will rotate to portrait position ? I can see on your video that it is same as on my s5 ii. Can you help me?
Hi, yes, it doesn’t support text information rotation. In the market, only Fuji is doing the rotation in both EVF and back display, canon do it in EVF, and not display. All other brands not rotating.
hello and thank you for presenting the autofocus of the s5. I'm amazed at how well it works and how beautiful the Panasonic colors are. A question how much worse is the S1R than the S5 in terms of Sutofocus and eye detection? Greetings Mario
Nice. I was looking at the S5 but I want to start doing more video work and all the Panasonic cameras have that weird focus hunting and flashing in AF mode. Did you notice it while doing videos? Doesnt look as bad as the G9 but I still see it in some spots.
@@caliallstaring thanks. I turned off continuous AF for video and switched from AFS to AFF on the G9 I just rented and that fixes it. But you have to tap the back screen to focus which isn’t always easy to do. Think I might get the a7iii or XT-4 instead.
Awesome photos! Were these all shot wide open? My S1R and 85mm sigma are on route right now, wonder if they will perform similarly. Have you tried to use the 105 sigma with the S bodies? I like the 105mm FL more for portraits but heard these adapted lenses focus like crap.
I have the S1R and the Sigma 105. I find the AF is a bit slower and the lens does hunt more to acquire focus with the 105 compared to other Sigma and Panny primes but it’s a macro lens so that’s to be expected. The only exception I’ve found regarding 100-105mm macro lenses is the new Canon RF 100mm macro on an R5 which I’ve found to be blazingly fast in portrait shots. However, I still really like the Sigma 105 lens and opted to sell my Canon set-up because I like the colours I can get out of my S1R better.
