“When it rains, it pours…” - the amazing story of how one of our favourite ever videos went viral.
Back in 2018, we came across this video of a guy singing ‘Let It Fall’ by Lady Almba in South Africa at 3am in the morning… Since we posted that video, it has reached all around the world and became the most shared post on our Facebook, with over 30 million views and counting. Since that moment, we have been in touch with Lady Alma, who introduced us to the DJ that filmed the video (Koketso Mothapo) and recently managed to speak with Nhlaka, the man who brought so much happiness to people’s lives.
Over the past few months, we have been working closely with Lady Alma, Tony, Koketso and Nhlaka to tell the story of how one video can connect millions of people from all corners of the globe. Big love to everyone who has shared this video, you made this happen.

It was due to this guy jamming in the club that I looked the song up so I'm so pleased they got the story behind it all and even more so he helped revive Lady Alma's career! Man needs a few dollars pushed his way to help him out! 😘

I knew when I first saw the clip with him singing that song what was going on. The song resignated with him so much because it was his Testimony! He felt those words in his soul. Soon as I watched him sing that song, I went straight - STRAIGHT to ya'll know where to find and add Lady Alma song - Let It Fall to my playlist!

I know house music originated in the USA and went global from there, but because of the mainstream stuff, I always think that houde music has been forgotten in America. It always shocks me to see Americans say they grew up listening to, or even know what it is. It shouldn't shock me because, like I said, americans created it. But it does shock me 😂 in southern Africa, it's the dominant genre and has spawned many subgenres over the decades. For The Love Of House ❤️

I’ll tell you where exactly in America where House Music originated from and it originated in Chicago where I was also born and raised my mom would play House Music every Saturday morning to clean the house and that’s where I got my appreciation of House Music from and like the man that was feeling the music I’ll break out in song and let all out. House Music isn’t just music, it’s an experience.

I had came across that clip on Facebook and saw how Nhlaka was deep into the song. I watched the clip several times and shared it myself. I even downloaded the song. That is a dope song.
