Such a waste that these people think that their prayers are helping those in poverty around them. Would be much more useful to get out and actually do something
Victor Alefosio because it’s a waste of time. It achieves nothing. They are trapped in there offering nothing to society, talking to themselves. I don’t believe in prayers, I believe in action.
Action without faith or prayers is nothing too. Its hard to explain to a non Catholic why we have monestaries so lord bless you and good work you're doing.
I went to a private Convent School many many years ago. The Nuns that looked after me are my best of friends. They helped me in my life. God bless you.
I know This is RU-vid but since were talking about sisters I would like to ask for prayers I have advanced cervical cancer going on 16weeks pregnant with my last babys and I'm worried about my unborn s making it into this world i would like to ask for there life body and soul tobe blessed bye the holy spirit in the way god Jesus Christ sees fit for my babys please and thank you ⚘💐🌹🏵
God bless you. With God, anything is possible. Take your cross with humility, and understand that your suffering will be greatly rewarded. You are bearing the life of a saint through your suffering. Stay strong and hopeful, and know that everything does happen for a reason. As always, I will pray for you. Sending you lots of love and hugs through your difficult times.
your baby will help you heal the cancer. he/she will be providing your body the cells it will need to fight the cancer cells! In Jesus' mighty name, our Divine Healer!
I believe her when she said that God fulfills all your needs when you live a totally dedicated life to God, so true! They are living a free and clean life, though the Bible declared us all as sinners, but these are humans living away from the sinful, dirty world. Praying for them.
I'm glad that these woman have been able to find something they are truly passionate about in life. Religous or not religious, anyone who shames them of this is envious!
What a beautiful documentary. I love seeing nuns in a habit and believe having monasteries in areas like this is so important for the community around the walls. Beautiful. 🙏
I remember seeing a Documentary of Nuns who work with a Local Prison where they take care of the children and make arrangements to see their Mothers who are so grateful. One said "I'd trust my child with them than in a Foster Care Home they only want the Money while the Nuns genuinely care about them."
Fleur, what a beautiful gift for us, thank you so much for this amazing video, lovely life, lovely nuns, every time I see it, I find my body breathing slower, and I start to relax what a wonderful life full of God full of love and peace, its so touching to know that there are pure people praying for us all the time.
If your sad of them. They’re sad of you. They’re all going to heaven unlike us ordinary people. We have full of sinners and when we die. We all going to purgatory first before the judgement.
To all sisters at the Carmelite thanks for your prayers, the power’s of your prayers change me to become a better woman of my yesterday . I’ll never forget I travel to the convent Carmelite Mass @ 5:00 in the morning with Vivien and Fane. Prayer for us Holy Camelite nuns so we can be worth it to God’s promises
Beautifully moving documentary, of the Sisters Of Corpus Christi, at Hunts Point! Thank You Sisters for all Your Great Work! (Many years ago; I was taught by Dominican Sisters, growing up in The Bronx. I remember admiring this beautiful monastery, while working in the Hunts Point neighborhood). Thanks again Sisters, for all your prayers, and great work, for the community!
I was taught by Sisters I. NYC from K through High School and I am forever grateful and so thankful that I was able to provide the same for my children.
gnislia you have never met a sister I’m assuming? They are incredibly busy people. It depends on the order as to what they do but the Dominicans are teachers and the Sisters of Life help women in crisis pregnancies. They don’t sit around. Prayer is incredibly important too though. The Sisters choose to devote their lives to God. Their prayers help everyone on earth
What a wonderful video,I am so impressed with these awesome sisters and Thank you for helping so many.I feel joyful watching how happy and content they are, blessings to all of you!
That would probably be at the St. Crispin Friary with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. You live in a blessed place with a Blessed group of Brothers. The Corpus Christi Monastery is another one of the God's special places. The Sisters are just really beautiful giving human beings. I love it there!
I actually thought about being a nun... all the way back to my teenage years. If I had chose that life I wanted to be a nun that devotes her life in helping others. Most if not all of the churches here you are not allowed out of the monastery. You must stay inside at all times... to me that's crazy. If your devoted to God than be devoted to helping him in every way and that's helping mankind. You can't do that being confined inside the walls of the church.
Aurora Klippert You could be a sister instead of a nun. The sisters are the religious who are teachers, have books stores, like the Daughters of Saint Paul or, you could work in a nursing home. There are different orders have different ministries. There are Franciscans who do social work. Pray about it to see which order suits you and, speak to your local parish priest. If you are serious about it, I zm sure he can help you. Perhaps you might be called to being a lay religious. Someone who makes promises in a religious order but, remains living in the world. God bless!
hi sisters we love you..pls pray for my husband healing he was in motor bicycle accident which his other leg broke..I'm working here in Riyadh. pls pray for us all ofws working around the world... Gos bless you more Father and sisters...
Wasswa Bosco So do ! I am proud of having been raised in the true church. There is no other! Let us pray for those poor misguided people who were raised in false denominations and, out of ignorance and, bigotry attack the one church that was founded by our Lord Jesus. God bless!
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Revelation 18:4
Please 🙏🏻 pray for me and my spiritual healing and my family for peace purity of mind heart ❤️ and gains control and strength trust in the Lord. Thank Canada 🍁
There are too many places for the poor including your house but please keep aside those convents and monasteries. Isn't there anywhere else for the poor apart from those?
Oh😢! My sisters! Please! Share with us how in the WORLD did you ALL survived that turmoil of that convent, I mean, at the heart of such inferno of the worst of all human misery of drugs, prostitution and gangs, and also shootings? My God! How did you all survived all of that, especially the stench of drugs inside your convent? Were you all affected psychologically or physically breathing all of that stench, I can now imagine day in and day out , at all hours of the day at night 🙄. And the violence? Weren’t you all scared ? I mean , how were you all successful at the end of it all? Share us your secretes cause I have the same problems in terms of violence, I too live among society of the same depths of unending suffering of human kind and it is mentally unbearable for me and I’m already an aspiring nun but knowing your story and me now living it now I wonder will I be able to make it as a nun?
I do respect Jesus ie Isa asm as an honourable prophet. I have also studied Bible but did not find a single word that He ie Jesus demanded he was God. Also how God may be born from an womans belly.
I am living g in a similar atmosphere. Trying to emulate your life style. Plan tobbake some bread .make some wine and.make candy on the holidAys Another taxpAyer
My gramma used to bring me to church, she told me when I was little I wanted to be a nun,but changed my mind when most of the congregations stopped wearing the habit and community prayer Glad there are some groups still maintaining a beautiful part of catholic heritage
