Beautiful sequencing! Model 15 sounds great too, I've been interested in it but this is the first video I'm seeing which makes me feel compelled. But I really think its your playing/sequencing more than anything that is giving that symphonic tone (well I'd argue it's not symphonic sounding at all, it sounds like classical music which people will often call symphonic. Symphonic really means sounding like a symphony, as in a multitude of synchronized but varied tonalities playing together. Being a monotimbral (and monophonic) synthesizer the Model 15 is surely not symphonic sounding by itself! Growing up I was always amazed by Wendy Carlos' "Switched on Bach", how Wendy achieved so much of the tonality of the string and orchestral instruments with just monophonic analog synths - and I think that's what's great here too.
@@DaveDaves LOL, like your reply! I was surprised myself that it sounded symphonic, it was not my intention at all when I first start playing with this synth :) Anyhow, indeed a monophonic synth is surely not symphonic sounding by itself. Nevertheless, like you mentioned, it sounds like classical music, and I'm glad you liked it!
@@JeroenVerbeek1970 Im so glad you understood that my comment wasnt meant to be negative or demeaning. I knew what you meant by symphonic, I think us not super classical music literate tend to group all 'that' together. Check out Wendy Carlos if you're not familiar.
