No. It’s a semi modular desktop synth. You need a midi controller to control it, or alternatively eurorack and use it like that.

That's the problem, right? I mean, it sounds great, but they've failed utterly on the tuning/calibration part. Even if you calibrate it, it might stay in tune over a few octaves, but will lose tracking over a larger range, anyway, so... yeah, they've made a great-sounding synth that you can basically not use "professionally". Such a damned shame. I would definitely get one, otherwise, but not if it's that kind of gamble. I guess that even in this case, you still get what you pay for. :/ Behringer never makes anything properly.

@@Coco_81 Yeah, I've seen people play on pots and pans, as well. I think you get the point. The Behringer has trouble keeping in tune, so I wouldn't use it professionally -- unless that's not important.

@@antiHUMANDesigns With the respect the original Moog is just as bad staying in tune, if not worst. Professionals have no issues using it.

Mike Hydropneumatic I have 'em both , the D is much fatter , but you got to remember it has one more oscillator, both great synths nevertheless

I thought the same thing when I read the credits. But then I thought that it immediately turned the $1700 synth into a $3000 synth. BTW, I'm saving up for a Sub 37 CV and now I'm wondering if maybe I should buy 2 or 3 Model D's and rack them with a Moog DFAM ? Decisions, decisions...

Ugly device? I guess you think the Moog Model D is ugly because they look almost exactly the same, minus a keybed and added patching.
