Hey! Does anyone know if there's a way to quantize the triggering of another saved sequence whilst playing a previous one? That is, whilst you're playing one sequence, are you able to then choose another one that will play after the final step of the previous pattern has finished, instead of immediately when you trigger the pattern? The above description is how the TD-3 works and I wonder if there is a mode to do the same thing on the MS-101. This is with the intention of choosing between different patterns during live performance. Thanks!

That is a very good question! I have been looking for the answer quite a while, but to me it seems: No, there is no way. Which is a shame, because although my fingers are (most of the time) fast enough to do a precise pattern change, it would have been nice to at least have the option to switch to "change-pattern-after-last-note"-mode or whatever that is called what the TD-3 does.

Great performance showing what this piece of the gear can do. Not clear - is it pre recorded in the seq (diode may suggest so) or outsource? And Korg - only for chorus, right? BTW - My is on the way :-) Many Thanks for the show!!!

Thx, Pawel. I am playing a pattern I created myself - a simple pentatonic minor on C. The Behringer instruments usually do not come with factory preset patterns, all patterns are initially empty (playing one C in a loop). I used the Korg Kross' chorus and a bit of stereo delay.

Good question! Short anwer: Yes. Behringer had to rename it from MS-101 to MS-1 due to else being sued by Roland.

Was Behringer Ms-1 discontinued?

No. Behringer just had to change the NAME due to legal issues with Roland from "MS-101" to "MS-1".

Hmm, you are right, I looked it up, and none of the big stores have it. That kinda sucks. Well, my guess is that there's still a legal fight going on, and as long as that goes, Behringer can't sell the thing.
