I have a fairly large modular system with single modules that cost 2-3 times the price of the Neutron and I love mine. For what you get in "modules" and flexibility it really is hard to beat.

Add delay and you can tweak the filter all day!

This module shines, IMHO, when you attenuate the oscillators and patch to bypass the distortion and delay.

Agreed. I ended up buying a digital delay pedal for mine, and pretty much never use the distortion.

Should the tuning knobs be at 12 o'clock if you use a MIDI controller and want to hear exactly the note you are pressing? What would happen if you turned these at three or 6 o'clock for instance?

This is a stupid question, but can you control that thing with like akai mpk mini midi controller?

As long as the controller is midi it will work. Midi is the industry standard interface. All you need is a controller and a midi cable. Then you match channels on the controller and the Neutron. They both need to be on the same channel to communicate.
