Great demo !! 4 years later and the PRO-1 is still the best sounding synth to my ear that Behringer put out and I already had the Neutron, CAT, MS-1, DeepMind ! I got these same 2 pieces of gear ordered yesterday waiting to come in by Monday or Tuesday !

Lovely sounds indeed. It's amazing that I can actually afford one of these. Since Behringer started bringing out replicas of classic synths I feel like a kid at Christmas. I'm really happy with the Model D I got, but this is definitely going to be my next purchase.

11:00 through the end of vid showcases that Ozric Tentacles sequence sound iv been chasing for so long. I want a Pro-1 so bad for the sole purpose of trying to mimic that Ozric Tentacles style of slippery or plucky cascading waterfall melodic sequences, and also for doing those signature bubbles/spiral noises with the LFO clock being routed to the filter w/ high resonance squeals.

They should've made one with the keyboard in-built. Maybe Sequential will re-issue it, like they recently did with the Prophet-5?

Hello, wonderful demo! I was wondering, which you think is the most interesting synth, between the pro 1, the model D and the Cat?

I have a Pro One and I am about to sell it to get the Behringer Pro-1. Why? Because it sounds exactly the same. No need for MIDI-CV interfaces, no wonky keybed, smaller footprint, less risk for an electronic failure and a lot of cash freed up for other things.

My 2cents: After Behringer's good but not perfect take on Korg's iconic MS-20 I was very curious about their Pro-1 clone. Having sold my Pro One more than ten years ago, my opinion might be biased but damn - this time, they've really nailed it. The Pro-1 sounds excellent in a lot of different settings and absolutely provides the vibe I liked so much on the original version. On the downside, I think the noise volume is a bit too weak in direct comparison. Nothing one can't solve with lowering down the volume of the other oscillators but still a difference. where are those presets from? you made each preset, or you are choosing from an app?

Thanx for this great Demo. I think I'll go for it when the Pro 800 will be in stock. I think it will be a great team. Beside my moogs I've bought the Behringer 2600. It is really fantastic and shows that Behringer can build high quality Synthesizers for really not lots of money. They open the analog Synth world for people who can not lay down 2000 or more bucks for a Synthesizer. That is really great

i ´m new into midi world. how can you get all these different preset sounds? is the arturia connected to a vst software via usb and then you modulate the sound with pro-1 knobs?

Sincere question for anybody: The model D offers 3 osc, the K2 offers the dual filters, what does the Pro-1 bring to the table that is unique to itself? Again, sincere question, I'm not throwing shade at the pro-1, purely curious.

Can someone help me by explaining what the patch cable at 2:08 is doing? Why did connecting it seem to double the frequency of the LFO? And why did it seem to revert back as soon as he slightly moved the LFO frequency knob?

bought it new for 220 euro. recieved a 10% discount, so ordered this one directly.

Hello. I am really interested in your opinion. Everyone's opinion TL;DR Neutron or Model D or Pro-1? Long story: I am planning to start hobby music creating after a long break, in general I do want to make synthpop/retrowave sounding stuff. I've got a real retro synth for leads/pads (Electronica EM-25), drumsynth and some effect processors, also I do know how synthesizers work, even thought about Doepfer modular, but its price is too high for me at the moment. And at least we are approaching The Question. Sorry for a wall of text If I could choose one, which should it be in my case: Neutron, Model D or Pro-1?

Not a Behringer fan....but this thing is awesome and for the price probably would be worth getting.

Excellent demo and really excellent synth. The biggest issue with analog synths that you can't save patches :(
