Thank you for posting this. Please add the word *RESOLVED* in the title of your video. This helps the rest of us who might be considering purchasing the Toro to know that it's not some weird bug with the Toro
My Toro arrived with similar issues. My midi controller is the Studiologic MP113, which works fine via midi with all my other synths. However it will not function with my Toro. I get ZERO sound out of my Toro using the MP113, yet I do get sound via midi through my Oberheim OB6 keyboard. Sweetwater is rushing me a new Toro for my gig on Saturday. Let’s hope that’s a fix for my issues.
I hope it worked out. Keep in mind you can change the DIP switches on the Toro to communicate on different MIDI channels. It defaults to Channel 1. Hope it goes well!
Just a bit more that I have found. Make sure Double function is off. I think this might of been the cause of your original problems. Octave 0 is below Toro's range octave 6 I think is to high, so only use 1 to 5. Hold function is fine to switch as you want, although I taken to using the delay on the Toro as rather than the hold. That works well for me.
