One side-comment that is not mentioned in the review: The preamps in this mixer work well for most applications, but if you really need a lot of gain for a mic you will want to consider a dedicated preamp. Past about 60% on the gain knob will add a lot of hiss to your mix.
+Filthy Creatures Naw bro...the 1204 should serve you well for a while. Only difference would be 2 more stereo channels and per-channel routing. To be honest I dont use the per-channel routing while streaming currently...it all just goes to the main bus. Dont bite till you run out of channels!
So let's say i have a snippet of something I want to record and only want the left side of that audio. Is it possible to record that with the behringer and then split that stereo audio into channels for left and right in either a daw or audacity? I used to do this with my onboard soundcard and was wondering if I can do the same with this unit or one of the bigger models
Hi, great review. Can you assign a separate FX type to different channels. or do you just set the effect you're using and can only choose the amount per channel?
