Thank you Sundui C, You just confirmed that this little piece of equipment truly is "Incredible." It is also just what our family needs for the ministry that we will be using it for. What a great and helpful review. Thank you again. God bless you richly my friend, Daniel
Thanks for the video. Love those individual chanel efect choice. Tell me something... If your ipad or tablet stay without battery does the mixer continue work as it was or lost the sound?
It was a nice review, I got some questions. Does dynamics only work at combo jacks? I need to use miss than 4 mics,, dynamic mics all of them, but I want to use compressor, it works with a XLR to plug cable? Thanks for your answer, PS sorry for my bad english, I could use Google translator but I like to practice it.
+Brian Trinh all channels have a compressor + gate on the channel strip and you can assign a more conventional compressor to one of the 4 built in virtual effect buses. The only way to connect this to another device is via the physical I/O using the LR and aux 1 and 2 OR get the XR18 model which doubles up as a full 18/18 USB interface.
beringer equipment always worries me as it sounds noisy. there are no physical trim pots on this device and so I was worried about getting one. you video has tons of hiss on it and it doesn't do anything to reduce my concern. if I plugged it in and it made that much noise I would be very upset. :-(
did anyone have any issue when the power led keeps on blinking and not powering or booting up.? In a middle of a gig. My xair is dead now and didn't last for 30 days. Anyone experience the issue? I'm still in the process of returning the unit.
I have a live sound question. how do i run software synths to a mixer like this? say I have Arturia synth and want to play it via midi keyboard and mac, do i just run it through my audio interface output into the xr12 input?
This is mixer in digital format. Not sure were you be able to map software instrument to any channel. To my knowledge you have to plug something into the channel to recognize signal. In the music industry, rule is "There is no Rule". You maybe need to digg in and try assign signal to later channels.
Jim Radetski I am kinda a guy who look into important information. Cutting box and open is not that important. Just saying... get the thing out plug the electric cord.
