She's right. One of the things that made me feel not good as a person while I was homeless, was when people walked past me like I literally didn't exist. It's like they don't want to acknowledge you because otherwise the will also be homeless(?) I honestly don't get it. Thankfully I am not homeless now, I got a apartment and a job. But it was really hard. I read somewhere that there was a study that suggested that the average homeless person has to work for about 4 and a half years to get out of homelessness.
