This reminds me of a story of a little girl who was abducted from her bedroom, kidnapped, r*ped and dumped in a field left for dead with a slit throat. She was found 12 hrs later by some kids playing hide and seek and she survived. People believe she only survived that long due to being dumped on a fire ant hill and constantly being bitten.

I’ve had a broken bone and I have been bitten by dozens of fire ants. How did this lady survive the pain of all the broken bones and all the bites without losing her sanity? Seriously, bone pain is deep and super hard to take care of with pain killers. Many pain killers don’t touch the pain of a broken bone. A fire ant bite is like a drop of acid to a nerve. There is initial pain and then a lingering pain. It is excruciating. After conquering all that, she went back up. I guess she had something to prove to herself.

Its like you are ready to move on but then your ancestors awaken and said "Not today".
