I don’t know if I would call this a Egypt travel vlog cuz there wasn’t much footage of restaurants you ate at or pyramids you visited or even souvenir shops or those what you call them🤔street markets or souks you know where you buy things off the carts like scarves and jewelry. Like what hotel did you stay at or hostel? There’s nothing in this video except Noelle speed walking trying to unsuccessfully hide from some dude in a sackcloth dress named Adam! I mean was this like a 5 hour layover on the way to the real destination? Cuz this seemed like a layover trip of like 5 hours then got to beat it back to the airport for the connecting flight ✈️

You look like you belong there...but it's not "getting hustled" like everyone is trying to take advantage of you, the culture there and most places in the world is you BARGAIN. You check it out, walk away and check out similar items, quality, etc and YOU make the offer on what you want to pay. We're not comfortable with it because in the "West" everything is a fixed price. You offer what you think is FAIR...without disrespecting the shopkeeper. That's part of the larger world - go easy.

Egypt is my kind of place, lol. The price is never fixed.

I was in Egypt 🇪🇬 after the fall of Mubarak. I think it was 2011. I was in Cairo, Luxor and Dehab. As I was being driven from the airport to my hotel in Cairo I felt a euphoria that I never experienced before in my life but it quickly left me. It felt like coming home 🏡 The young Arab men that were working at the hotel asked me what did I think the Egyptians should do since Mubarak was under arrest and there was chaos in the streets. The Isrealites had just killed some Egyptians and everything was falling apart. I told them to “Shoot Someone” I actually said it as a joke but the next day 40 Egyptian Christians were shot. Some of them right under the front balcony of the hotel that I was staying at. The Christians had taken advantage of the chaos and seized the state radio stations in Cairo. After the shooting everyone calmed down. Home Sweet Home 😎
