Yes! Your point about the language around men's success vs women's success (tenacity v being delulu). We owe ourselves more credit (same with Girl Math..)!
Magical thinking and future fantasizing is also a symptom of OCD and ADHD and the laws of assumption and manifestation can easily create huge problems for people managing these neurodiversities. For me, it elevated the hyper excitement around wanting to do very specific rituals to get a very specific result and it caused a lot of anxiety and depression every time the “ritual didn’t work”. I got so sucked into being delusional that when my husband would question why I bought the crystals, candles, books, and manifestation courses, I would tell him that he wasn’t on my level and that he was ruining my frequency and that it was actually his lack of belief that was keeping us broke! 😂 It’s funny now but before I put myself in therapy, I was sure that I was only one doing what needed to be done to live in an alternate reality. It took me taking accountability and responsibility for my thoughts and actions to create my dream life, not pretending that “I deserved” to be lucky. You don’t DESERVE luck, you just DECIDE to get your shit together.
The way I've used the concept of "being delusional" is a little bit less literal. I use it in a way that I'm delusional abou what I CAN achieve. Cuz the thing about most people in their 20-30s nowadays is self doubt. So I guess I used it as a way to not use "but's" in my dreams/manifestations. As being delusional that you CAN achieve those big dreams, whilst using your current situation as fuel to keep going, and also being grateful along the way. Mind u, I've only used it career wise cuz that's my main focus right now. But I really liked your perpective and I agree that many people on tiktok explain this in a different way than the one I personally use. Loved the video!
Absolutely! Your perspective on the "just be delusional" trend in manifestation is thought-provoking and well-articulated. What creative name would you give to a brand-new, more effective manifestation technique that aligns with your ideas?
I agree with your assessment of Erin's perspective on the "just be delusional" trend in manifestation. Her thoughts are indeed thought-provoking and well-articulated, offering a fresh perspective on the subject. The idea of creating a brand-new manifestation technique that aligns with these ideas is intriguing. It invites creativity and innovation in the realm of personal development. I'm curious to hear what creative name the speaker would come up with for this technique and how they envision it being more effective in helping individuals manifest their desires. It's an exciting prospect that could potentially bring new insights and practices to the field of manifestation. Keep up the work work Erin!
I really appreciate your thoughtful breakdown of the "be delusional" trend and how it impacts our mindset. Your insights on shifting from delusion to certainty are spot-on!
@@monicasoriano8581 I completely agree with your evaluation of Erin's take on the "just be delusional" trend in manifestation. Her insights are undeniably skillful, bringing a unique viewpoint to this subject.
I love love love this video! ❤❤❤ I am an overly practical person sometimes but for the most part I’m also very day dreamy too. So to see people with these massive platforms completely writing off their success as simply being lucky or manifesting and having things come to them is so dangerous. And it’s honestly out of touch with the problems and situations of their followers. It also makes these women entrepreneurs look less competent than their counterparts who identify as men because they conflate this “feminine energy” of passivity and observing (vs “masculine energy”of activity and being observed) with inaction and letting stuff come to you. Which is dumb because to be successful you need both- but inaction isn’t ever going to get you what you want. I hate that. 10/10 great video.
I agree 1 million percent! It’s always have positive faith and take action. Regardless of who you are or how you identify you don’t have to play that down to luck ever! Sure there is a little luck involved but there is a whole lot of preparation too!
finally someone getting real abou this whole ~delulu thing, people always talk about how ~manifested stuff but whenever they get into the details, it all comes down to being consistent, business savvy and knowing your strenghts.
How can a person not focus on their crappy life and be optimistic? Ive been thru so many obstacles and struggles in my life, I don’t know how to change it.
WELL! Thank you Erin. What an honest, fabulous, to the point Entrepreneur REAL TALK. 👌🏽✅💜 deffo spent a lot of my journey not realising that everything comes from consistency capability and confidence - which all comes from taking action. Big love, thanks for this refreshing video! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽Just, Jen ✌🏽&💜
I have never agreed with a video MORE than this 👏🏾 "Certainty " is spot on. The delusional conversation can be harmful, I'm so glad you're bringing ground to the manifestation community. I'm editing a video where I'm discussing a similar thing. Thanks much for sharing 💕 #staygrounded 🌱
I like to journal this way in my manifestation journeys: 1) Thank you god for giving me the skills and talents that I need to achieve my goals. 2) I am grateful that __________ is on it’s way to me and in a better way that I can imagine. 3) I am proud of myself for taking the steps that I need to take to achieve my goals and adapting my strategy as I learn more. With that said, I prefer focusing on gratitude for the ability to do things in the present that bring the thing that I want closer to me in addition to gratitude with certainty that it is on its way to me.
So I’ve watched your video and I’ve come to the conclusion that young women on TikTok are existing in such a state of self doubt and self loathing, that they are actually convincing themselves that are delusional for believing they are deserving of something better than what they have, and that is so fucking sad.
