BEING HARD ON YOUR STUDENTS | Pushing Your Class To Do Better & Be Better | Teacher Vlog
Hey Teacher Friends! It's been a few weeks since my last video, and I must apologize because I've been almost completely consumed with my class, kids, and life. The past week was a challenging one, and maybe you can relate to the growing anxiety and fatigue that so many teachers are feeling (raising my hand!). As we near the end of 2022 and move full steam ahead into the second half of this semester, I wanted to talk about what it means to be hard on our students, to push your class to do better and be better each day, and what it means to be a teacher and not a tyrant. How has your experience been with pushing, encouraging, and challenging your students beyond their current abilities? Let me know! Join our growing community by hitting Like & Subscribe, and I look forward to speaking with you in the Comments. Have a great holiday season in your classroom, and remember, do all you can to stay Fit 2 Teach. Be well.

Thank you for the encouragement to push a little. Student motivation is waning and thank you for the encouragement for me to stay consistent and persistent.

@MissFit2Teach Right on Nina. Unfortunately speaking for myself being a former autistic school student and not a teacher, sometimes the process of moving your student(s) out of their comfort zone(s) alone lands you the teacher in that dungeon and includes the pushing you away and on that occasion stop trying to avoid those dungeons and learn to make your way back up out of those dungeons because when you endure the struggles and the push downs with your student(s) they will come around to you and end up loving you in the end while you the teacher win the victory of expanding the mind(s) of your student(s). With that, keep telling it like it is. Consistency leads to honesty and honesty leads to trust and trust leads to success. - Dwight
