How the hell did the dad not see Aiden's face? And it's funny, because not only does Josh not know that Feverfew is a herb, he doesn't know it IS on Earth, lol!
I'm doing a rewatch and this scene is so good. The writing and facial expressions. Everyone is so good. Sam/Aiden's little tripping on the way to the bathroom. Josh's line about camomile teas... Who knows what the parents were thinking, but it's even funnier that we don't really know.
I'm guessing with the teeth in some letter sounds become harder for him to pronounce because the vampire teeth get in the road of his regular tongue position
in the UK the vampires are scary when theyre eyes turn black, I really think that this was stupid that Aiden could talk and be "normal" With black eyes.
+littlecreationcorner No, it's the same as UK BH rules, which is: that vampires' eyes turn black on _instinct_ based on fight/flight or lust, but can turn black _intentionally_ at any time. Like normal people's eyes - they focus automatically, but some people can induce 'double vision'. And technically, Aiden was following the first rule - his body was having a reaction to garlic, just like his body would have a reaction to fresh blood. The second would also be psychological, but why wouldn't he be able to talk normally if it's *only* his body affected? That's one bit of logic to the supernatural that carried over well from the UK version.
