When Aiden starts laughing about Josh's personal journal I always interpret it as Aiden laughing at Josh's misfortune and his idiocy by keeping a journal about it.
Interesting that this was remade for the US. Never seen this version - but the original (UK) Being Human remains one of my favourite shows of all time.
MissWitch2310 ugly actors is an excuse for a show being bad? I’ll admit it was a little rough getting into the show in the first season since I’d watched the uk version first and I just assumed the show would be copying it (which it did in some cases), but it became nothing short of brilliant and went in it’s own direction later on.
@@npcimknot958 well when ur ugly a d a bad actor like the guy who played aide. In the usa version then theres no help. The UK George was ugly but I liked him
Not gonna lie folks, only reason I stumbled upon this show is because of Days Gone and I wanted to see what other stuff Sam Witwer did. I was on the fence about starting this series but then I saw this and boy oh boy have I missed the hell out lol
You are not only one, but for me it was Starkiller from Star wars Force unleashed. Then i discovered he made dub for animeted series a then Days Gone. But THUMBS UP for the work he is so dedicated in to.
Ok, how about everyone just watches both versions entirely before they make judgements. It seems like it’s a bit biased based on which one you watch first, which kind of tone you prefer, and if you’ve finished the series. In the end, you’re able to watch and enjoy TWO being human shows instead of one and are given a choice. Isn’t that a good thing?
Saw the US version before the UK version. Fell in love with both. Loved Sam and Aidan! Only thing about the UK version. I couldn't watch after season 3! Introducing the new characters. Just wasn't my cup of tea!
@@herbertpervert8817 The UK version is horrible. People in the UK do not know how to make good TV... So glad to be living in America. The UK people are all dead inside. Sub human types. LOL
It's sort of weird, because being from North America...I saw this US version first and I loved it. But then I heard this one was made based off a UK version, and it took a little getting used...new actors...same characters...but the main difference was much darker the tone was. It's a littler creppier, but once you get into its REALLY good and super funny. I fell in love with Mitchell (=Aidan), Annie (=Sally), and George (=Josh). I actually LOVE the UK one more, but I still find this one enjoyable
Mia Borges I'm glad you were able to enjoy both series. I tried but I couldn't get into the UK version at all. Kudos to you for being able to enjoy one without putting down the other. Not many seem capable of that from what I've seen on these clips.
Vice Versa for me. Though from what I recall, since I stopped watching after season 3, the uk version a leans more towards science and being more grounded while the us is a little more magic based right?
@@edgymoji8260 not so much they leaned towards the spiritual realm really but inwas with u after season 3 I got bored but felt a need to finish once thenorignal cast was gone the flicker left for me.
I think both cast work but the us one I felt that thenguybplayin aiden is what let it down for me. He deffently had no depth to who he was his smile laugh cry and etc all looked the same. I felt jogh and Sally really show chemistry. Aiden just felt like a outsider. I did like the first 3 season of uk all them.seemed to really really together well.
I like both versions. The UK was a bit grimmer, and the US is a lot more comedic. I think I like both vibes but not together. I love Aiden Turner, but not the show as much. I love this version, when in the mood for comedy. Which is always.
I honestly hate Josh's character the most. He's such a horrible selfish friend. Aidan always puts himself in harms way to protect or save josh. Josh never goes the extra mile for aidan. I also dont like how the message of the show is to not be yourself. You're a wolf, embrace it. Learn to control it. You can't run from yourself.
Omg people are stupid. The uk version sucks. Sam witwer is a whole new lever actor. This version is sooooooo much better than the UK version. And its coming from a big UK fan. People, watch this version. You ll thank me later.
Depending on what your likes and dislikes are. One version will appeal more to one then the other. Cause of the UK version. US was lucky to experience this show. Fell in love with both versions and their characters. UK was much darker but that's ok. Both are in my DVD collection.
A boring vampire/werewolf/ghosts soap opera type of series.Every episode consist of a never ending drama of what a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost are going through in their existence as human beings who don't want to be monsters!.And I thought the Twilight Saga was a bore fest but Being Human takes the prize for the dumbest most boring monster soap opera ever!
