This is y’all problem. The generalization. Laying your hands on ANYONE is wrong!!! I simply laughed because I was caught off guard by her smacking him with the bottle but in no way or form was that funny if it happened irl. Also, F MIKE!! He deserved cause he a scumbag 😒😂 but nah fr yall take it to heart too much. I’m not on any side, I disagree with women most of the time. PS. when have I ever did that in any other reaction? In The Godfather, I literally said i feel like no one should hit anyone but if one is provoked to that point, what can you do? (Ex: woman in man’s face saying “hit me then” don’t be mad when he really do it)

The thing that bothers me is that she was helping Mike tease Sheila. “Sheila thought you’d like it” and then he says she set her up.. she was sleeping with her man knew he would think it was funny and set her up under the guise of friendship.. I would’ve been Angela in that situation

That scene on the mountain top with Sheila and Troy and her pouring out her heart saying she feels like she's been hit by a car....in an interview Jill Scott (who was actually going through a divorce at this time) said that line wasn't in the script, it was actually how she felt....Wish you didn't have to relate so much to Sheila in real life but I hope you find your Troy!

I've seen this movie a bunch of times and I've always thought if that's how Mike feels about Sheila then why is he even with her ? Also Trina was sleeping with Mike while being a fake friend to Sheila. If this ever happened to a friend a mine I would've done what Angela did and just tell my friend to cut those 2 people out of your life and move on.

I love your genuine reactions! I saw this in theaters when I was in 7th grade with my mom and my friend and we were hype at that dinner scene. 😂 When Sheila hit Mike with that bottle my mama stood up and yelled "yeah!!" GIRRRRL You thought some of the scenes in this movie was emotional, wait until you watch the sequel to this which is Why Did I Get Married Too? this movie was filmed around the time Michael Jackson had passed away and Janet's acting is phenomenal in that sequel at least to me it is i can't speak for anyone else but certain scenes in that movie you can really feel the pain, grief, anger, and rage she was able to display for her character.

After growing up I realized Terry was not a husband. In my opinion, although Diane was a terrible communicator so was Terry. Taunting your wife about her working habits is not proper communicating. He was giving controlling issues. If my job calls me and I’m sleeping or not around don’t answer it and then tell them to not connect me anymore. Also breaking my work phone because you’re having a tantrum is overdoing it. I know it’s a movie but realistically they should’ve never married.
