I am a former deobandi/tableeghi who used to be an extreme hanafi like most of the Muslims from the Indian subcontinent. Now Alhamdulillah I’m upon the manhaj of the salaf.
@@tariqmalik1177 The deobandis are not Ahlus sunnah wal jamaa’ah. The real Ahlus sunnah are those that follow the Quran and sunnah based on the understanding of the salaf (first 3 generations of Muslims). Imam Abu Hanifah (رحمه الله) is free from the misguidance of those that claim to follow him. You take the furoo (fiqh rulings) from him but ignore him when it comes to aqeedah. Imam Abu Hanifah was a salafi in aqeedah (creed) and he has stated this in his works with no ambiguity.
@@improveself3263 going to saint graves thinking they can help us celebrating Biddah doing shirk like wearing black type of thread and amulets majority of people in subcontinents do that
Just to confirm to everyone, the brothers were referring to those hanafis in the subcontinent of the maturidi aqeedah. They were not referring to changing in fiqh but Aqeedah.
There is no issue of following the Madhhab of Imam Abu Hanifah and his students. You just need to upgrade your knowledge not limited to that school alone. There are a lot of ruling of Hanafi Mahhab that resolved issues in fiqh today. afaik. The things you have to disassociate from is the Sufis and all the other forms of Batiniyyah sects. And Abu Hanifah was a Salaf. For argument sake.
@@firegoblet147 still an incorrect association between Hanafi madhhab dan Al Maturidi aqeedah methodology. They're not mutual or exclusive to each other.
Hanafis these days do not follow the Aqeedah of Imam Abu Haneefa, they are Ashari or Maturidi, or brevwlie, or deobandi etc. Also they will have blind fanaticism to their Hanafi scholars in fiqh rather than following a stronger opinion and daleel.
Happy to see level headed maturity in the comment section in correcting the content creator which resulted in correcting the title rather than using mistakes as an opportunity to malign the channel.
Can anyone clarify the point at 3:00? I am a Salafi layman who has no Salafi masjid near me, so I go to a Deobandi masjid. How can I call out the biddah in the masjid when I have no position of authority there? I can't deliver a speech, nor am equipped with enough knowledge to do so. Points like this are so confusing and need clarification, they can put the laymen in doubt and can make them bad for going to the mosque.
hanafi and salafi are the same path. hanafi hanbali maliki shafii 4 imams of ahlu sunnah. there is not such a thing as salafi separetely from theese 4 akidas. Sufism is not an akida.
