Bog bog and more bog! I managed a lovely snowy crisp day for these two Ally and it was still boggy 😂 good to revisit though and enjoyed watching! New box on your campervan 😊. Paul
Hi Paul yip I can remember your video you got the perfect sunrise aswell was cracking, but new this was going to be boggy think its like that most the year round and with that weather we had defo didn't help but still was great to get back out. Yip new addition got the storage box and it's been great can get so much in it helps keep the free of clutter. Wasn't out that weekend there was installing the last of the window's in the van so hopefully get back out sunday, weather permitting Ally 👍
Nice drone footage at the end bud. I do love the view down loch treig from these munros its amazing . Another fantastic vid mate and glad you got back out. ATB Tam
Thanks Tam was glad to get the drone up not been the weather for flying it lately, its a fantastic area up there a lot of cracking mountains and lochs, do love the views down loch treig it's a stunning loch fingers crossed get a few more trips before the end of the year . ATB ALLY 👍
Enjoyed that Ally. Beinn a Chaorainn was my first Munro in 1994. There was a group scattering the ashes of someone who had fallen through a cornice! Re-visited the pair last year.
Hi David that that was my first time on them enjoyed the walk was a bit boggy on the first one but to be expected after that storm , i read that about beinn a Chaorainn there has been a few accident in the winters with the build up of the conicing people getting to close and falling through. Ally 👍
Nice vid Ally, I remember these 2 as well for being boggy and seeing nothing at both tops.🤣🤣 Good to get out tho after a 5 week lay off. Drone footage was excellent.👍 ATB Frank.
Thanks Frank not been getting out as much as i want to the now due to weather , last of the camping and more van mods but fingers crossed the weather will change and get some good winter days walking soon, think the next time i tackle these will leave till the summer. ATB Ally 👍
Nice one Ally good to see you out on The Munro trail again, looked promising weatherwise first thing but shame no views from the tops but still an atmospheric feel in the clouds. I was on Creag Meagaidh looking towards these two on a glorious day this summer and the temptation to at least bag one was tempting but the thought of maybe having to thumb a lift back along the road put me off haha. Great video again. Atb. Mick.
Hi mick, I was glad to get back out, and the weather wasn't too bad considering the storm the day before was quite boggy on the first one, got to the top of the second one and the weather closed in but still got some good views lower down. There's a bit of a distance from the bottom of them to the creag meagaidh car park, so think you made the right decision. Creag meagaidh is a cracking day out as well. I really enjoyed that day a few years back. ATB Ally👍
Thanks Alan for watching the video had a great wee day out had been a while but was just glad to get back on the hills. just subscribe to your channel ATB Ally 👍
Hi Andy They were really boggy think these 2 would be better done in the summer. It was really cold on the second one the weather came in on me . The cliffs looked superb would have been better if it was a bit clearer to see them but all in was glad to be back out on the hills. Ally 👍
