If I had been that person jogging past I probably would have tripped and died out of amazement when seeing one of my most beloved musicians playing in a park.
This video will be seen in 20 years and we'll be saying "it was different back then" and "real music was produced back then" while other people will see it in 80 years and won't believe how beautiful and gorgeous it was back in the 10's.

I am from Nepal ! and we have similar instrument used in our religious purposes ! it's called sankha ! ! i this piece is a master ! love and respect to Beirut 's music !
The triols that the accordeonplayer uses at 30 minutes to start La Fête are so genius and cheerfull that every time I hear it a little butterflie starts crawling up my heart in the same way. This song is brilliant on your record, but this little change by the accordeonplayer makes it mesmerizing. A huge smile on my face :-)
After my dog Midas ❤️ deceased everything inside me felt so cold and every day felt cold to me. But your music gave me so much warmth back and gave me my joie de vivre back. So the title magic is more than justified 😉
Each single one of you being here, I wanna tell you that I love you. Don't care where you are, how you are, how you're coping with life, how you identify, where you find joy in it.... I love you.
Loved it all. It's all about love, music and life. It teaches you how to pray and how to love. It shows you the way to find your soul and the true part of yourself.

Esto si es mágico! Muestra que realmente cualquier lugar tiene potencial para hacer arte, y que los lugares cotidianos hacen a esta mucho mas hermosa y cercana. Para mi este es el mejor video del tipo A take away show. Amo a Beirut!! Viva Zach!! :D
@@assneck2007 you have put this dangerously addictive video online & Thank you for doing so because i think its one of the greatest pieces of art ever made & more importantly : it fills me joy and carelesness
I am just wondering, is it a LaBlogotheque video? Or was it intentionally? Because the way it's done, it reminds me strongly of that. And I am also wondering if anybody could tell me what equipment do ´these guys use to record the sound and the video? It would be awesome to know that :) THx!
I also hear a music box Scenic World in there. :> They are so incredible. I am speechless when it comes to their talent, gah. The feelings are enigmatic, inscrutable, I don't even know.
Love it. Anyone with the actual DVD who is able to rip an HD version? And post / publish it somewhere? It's worth preserving the highest quality possible.
Desde la primera vez que los escuche me enamore, su voz tan acorde a las notas me hace vibrar y sus letras tan bellas.. BEIRUT🎼 ejemplo de perfección y arte puro. 💚💛💚
Can I simply say that this band is genius!?! There are few musicians that do such good music that can lift your souls up anytime. Beirut is one of those few.
Well if the Alpacalypse is in 4 days... I'm going out to the cliff side with a boom-box and a CD rip of this... And I'm going to watch the world burn with class.
It was just AWESOME! and I've realized that the fact that we can't understand some of the lyrics that Zach Condon sings, it's because his voice is so awesome and hot that the words just melt down out of his mouth! (not homo). Beirut rocks!!!
It's called "Le Moribond / My Family's Role in the World Revolution". Beirut did a version of it, I think it was a bonus track on The Flying Club Cup. Just search it on RU-vid, it's one of my favorite songs by them :D
