I still don’t get why this game is not really well-known. It’s way better than Candy Crush. I don’t have this game now, but I played this years back then. I should probably download this game again.
Because of CC's popularity. Apparently people view CC as a brand new genre, while it's actually just a ripoff. I gagged in disgust when I see these kind of people.
@@r.a.6459 Oh, now I see why Bejeweled is infamous. We hate Candy Crush just because people played that more, and as a result of that, few people are currently playing the nostalgic Bejeweled games.
@@sonikkuzahejjihoggu535 Longevity is what matters the most. One thing, CC is full of ridiculous microtransactions BS, which slowly depleting its fanbase. CC is the Baby Shark or Despacito-equivalent of video games, Bejeweled is like Hotel California of Video games.
Each level is longer than the last. This trend of longer levels go until level 30 or so where from that point onwards, the levels will have same length. It'll take 5~6 minutes to clear each level then. This is in contrast to Bejeweled 2's Endless, where levels get longer _indefinitely._ I was shocked when people get so far in a very short period of time within the first few months after this game's release. I mean, 800+ levels with _only_ 22 million points? Only after playing this game when I realised it. I got to level ~1500 after 2 years in Bejeweled 3 Zen before the PC I used gets corrupted 😟😕. In contrast, I 'only' get to level 1274 in Bejeweled 2 Endless after 12 years of playing...
The gameplay in both Zen and Butterflies mode is slightly slowed down, with certain special gems emitting different visual effects and sound effects, and the cooldown for using the hint button is shorter.
