Washing a full load of blankets and dressing gowns with Ariel liquid and comfort honeysuckle and sandalwood softener
Whoever designed this cycle needs exterminated 🥰
The wash started of absolutely fantastic. It done very deep water levels for the main wash which even though it reached top up limit and went down to a lower level it managed to get everything wet! no other cycle would’ve been able to do that unless it had a prewash.
The machine washed at around 35°C quite interesting that it heated straight to 30 then gradually increased the temp by turning the heater on and off. Don’t know if it’s meant to do that or if it’s because of the water level being lower but at least it got to a decent temperature.
Interm spins where fantastic and do bursts at the start for them all which is definitely needed with a load like this.
And that’s where the goodness ends 🥰
RINSING umm yeah what on earth happened 🫣 who on earth thought it would be ok to do drum rim water level on duvet of all cycles and then the icing on the cake is that it doesn’t top up at all 😶 the way the machine is programmed is that if the aquatech pump is about to run out of water it will initiate a top up on rinses. Because duvet doesn’t use aquatech at all it felt it had enough water in it when it didn’t. I honestly feel so bad for the people who have new models that work like this on synthetics and don’t top up on rinses 🥲.
The machine ended up spending over an hour doing 4 dry rinses (it added an extra rinse automatically) and spins. Even with me adding an endless amount of water on the last 2 rinses the load still wasn’t fully saturated. The cycle ended with them smelling very heavily of Ariel and ended up needing an extra hour to complete another 2 proper rinses and spins done by me taking the total of my 1 hour 35 minute wash to nearly 4 hours 3 of which was just rinses and spins. I don’t have a problem with machines that add time when they really need it such as when it sudslocks badly or takes longer to balance (along with load adjustment if it isn’t on every cycle and know how much time its gonna add on) but it’s so frustrating that I could’ve saved an hour or more if it had of just added more water on the rinses it done on duvet
