This man knows no limits. A true legend of the sport, and I'm honoured to witness such a legendary run. Difficult to believe really, words can't quite describe. Pereira is doing his thing too
He probably doesn't want to make weight and has stuff going on. No time to prepare. Nah. It's not just anybody who will take a short notice fight. Alex is crazy. Hope this doesn't go through.
Ilias is not getting fighter of the year. He has 1 defense, alex has saved how many events? Defenses? Its not even a ? I mean, it'd sound good if alex didn't exist
What if that means Shavkhat isn't ready for another fight when Belal is though? That would be a damn shame, if he gets skipped AGAIN because of timing. Something to keep in mind. I guess it depends on how long before Belal can fight.
MMA is individual sports. Anything can happen before, during, after a fight. Some fighters don't have any problems in his life, don't have any injuries and so on. All the best for all MMA fighters.
There’s already a flyweight title fight that night. I don’t think the ufc would have 3 title fights the same night. Wouldn’t mind pereira vs Ankalaev honestly
Even if you go Alex v Ankalaev... Keep Rahkmonov on the card. UFC should not wait for Belal, instead put on... Rahkmonov v Garry for welterweight interim championship.
The UFC needs to pay Pereira a boatload of money for him to save yet another PPV. And should he go 4-0 this year, it would close the book between him and Topuria for fighter of the year.
This why i respect Jiri, stripped himself so he wouldn’t hold the division up when he was injured. I like Belal though, really wanted to see this fight
@@kevintran2949 I’d kind of hate that though cause people would still find a way to hold it against Alex and act like he was the one avoiding the rightful #1 contender. Even though it wouldn’t be true that would be the narrative of half the mma fanbase.
@@BradensBeard3 the way I see it is if you’re the challenger and your goal is to be champ, you take any opportunity the presents itself to reach your goals. If he didn’t accept it, just means he doesn’t want it bad enough and that’s on him. Alex doesn’t have anything left to prove and if he does move up to heavyweight, he’ll most likely be fighting a wrestler anyways so no one can blame or accuse him of ducking Ankalaev. Tom or Jon is far superior than him so it’ll just make him silly for not taking a short notice fight for the opportunity to be champ.
If HE BEATS Ankalaev what would that be the 5th in how many months , within this year. How do you clean out the TOP FIGHTERS IN YOUR DIVISION WITHIN THE YEAR! Dude that is insane, he should move up if he wins. We have people who take years to do what he did, within a year. Or don't even manage that without taking a L within that time frame. By this time next year he would probably fought aspinall late next year maybe even jones. This is how insane this run is. *Dude loves fighting like is passionate for this sport he truly wants to learn and get better when he's already a monster*
@no_going_back8456 the KO was a good shot to finish a match that he was getting crushed in, though. Without the KO the next fight would never have happened because there's no way he wins that fight
Is Uncle Chael trying to tell us that Pereira will dispose of Aspinal so fast at 309 that he will have taken zero strikes, and can thus qualify to bypass the 30 day no-compete guideline to be ready for 310? At least I'm assuming at this point that everyone knows the pansy has-beens that are currently "scheduled" to headline 309 will both continue their reign of undisputed excuse making and will both drop off the card, freeing up Alex and Tom to save the show, like they always do.
If usman colby masvidal all being mentioned for an interim then why hasn't anyone thrown Leon name in to the mix? Considering 2 of the above mentioned their last fights at welterweight was losing 5 round title fights against Edwards?
It might seem random but I think Shavkat vs Diego Lopes for the interim title would give him something to do in the meantime while Topria does the rematch with Volk
Alex KO’s Ankalaev, idk if that beats Topuria. What Topuria just did is legendary shit. Idk if fight quantity can overcome the quality of what Topuria just did.
Am i the only one who didn't know belal was on 310! Also anything would be a better replacement. Just do kamzat piera and aspinal in an octagon and see who walks out
The whole problem is in the manager Ali AbdelAziz And Khabib also liked to disappear like that before important fights and serious opponents. This is their cowardly strategy. When they see a threat, they run. Everyone understands that Shavkat will destroy Belal ahead of schedule. We need to bring in the temporary belt and announce Shavkat vs. Usman.
And Justin gaethje also has the same manager. Besides the only guy khabib pulled out on was Tony and then Tony also pulled out. Who did Islam pull out against? Youre just a parrot regurgitating blatantly false statements made by racists and casuals who cant stand any of the Dagestani fighters. Be better.
@@Gh0st_0723throwing "racist" around when nothing racist has been said is pretty wild homie. Why cant Ppl have an opinion and not be accused of such nonsense? So what if he doesnt like your favorite fighter... And Dag Russians are MAINLY WHITE by blood..yes they are mixed but PRIMARILY European, so youre saying anytime someone says something they dont like about dagestani wrestling that automatically means they dont like white ppl? Think before you speak.
@@VillanThaHero this guy has left other comments on this channel. They're either bashing, Belal, Khabib or Islam. Are we really gonna pretend that those guys don't get hate because of their religion? C'mon man let's be straight up with one another. This guy left a comment saying "Belal is a coward"...A UFC champ, a guy who's livelihood depends on fighting people is a coward apparently. Where as homeboy here leaving comments is a real man 😂
Staphylococcus thrives in warm, poorly ventilated, and low-light areas of the human body, such as the armpits and buttocks. Environments with excessive sweat, heat, and frequent lack of cleanliness-especially spongy mats (and not very fond of bath fighters)-increase the chances of infection. One scar and bad lucky are enough to cause such episode.
Chael was "beefing" with Jorge and going on about making easy money boxing him slagging him off but last several weeks has complete flipped with his words and actions...
Strip his belt, just because his gym is dirty and he gets staff doesn’t mean he gets to sit on the belt, with Ramadan too he won’t have to fight in so long
i don't like this idea, just let the man rest. he need some vacation and relaxing his body. He will fight early in the next year. but if Alex take this fight, ufc need to paying him alot of money. win or lose because this is the 4th times Alex saved ufc cards
ANKALAEV não tem chance alguma contra Poatan. Só espero que o árbitro tenha misericórdia e pare a luta antes que o russo seja espancado sem necessidade só para agradar o público bêbado.
