Even Khamzat admitted Bo would smoke him in wrestling. Brundage is a literal decorated NCAA wrestler who has been wrestling since he is a kid. Bo dominated that fight with ease and just was patient and finished him mad early, Brundage just was trying to survive which isnt that hard Get over the recency bias - one would think a Khamzat ball hugger wouldnt give into the same ridiculous hyperbole, after he has been called a bum who lost to Burns and Usman, but here we are... Khamzat vs Bo a 50/50 fight, even right now.

Bo is literally trying to get more cage time and live looks.

Two fighters could fight each other 100 times, get 100 different outcomes, but fans are so light switch brained they always think the most recent results happens 100 times inna row, or the most recent outing tells you everything about a fighter. I'm a huge believer in Khamzat, but the stories we are hearing about Bo inside the gym are even more terrifying than what we heard about Khamzat (i.e. he's well rounded ASF and far more advanced than we know).. It's possible Khamzat grabs a leg lock or KO's him, but if Bo lasts past the first round it could get ugly for Khamzat. Styles have always made fights and this is the perfect example - for the first time ever Khamzat will be facing a better athlete, a better wrestler and far better cardio. The hammer very likely becomes the nail. Anyone that says Khamzat steam rolls him doesn't know ish about Bo or MMA.

Whittaker might have good takedown defense but he's nowhere near a guy like Cory Sandhagen or even Sean Strickland in terms of getting back to his feet; he got his back taken very quickly and had no defense against the choke. If he was laying down and taking it like Brundage he'd definitely have lasted longer.

Had zero wrestling background, yet controlled and dominated multiple NCAA champions, as well as other excellent grapplers like Nick Diaz and Jake Shields. Wasn't Bo trained in wrestling sense he was 5 years old or whatever. And he's proven to be at a elite level. However , like you said, I feel the Stand up is no where near competitive for Bo and that's were he would get beat. Khamzat's cage experience and competition is too much. It's called MMA.
