I spent 5 years combined in England and the Netherlands. Never seen such clean and well maintained streets. I can't believe I'm saying that but Eastern Europe is becoming a better and safer place to live. Greeting to my slavic brothers and sister from Bulgaria.
Не малое количество людей, проживающих в России, были бы не против, чтобы, после Путина, пришёл руководитель, следующий политике сегодняшней Белоруссии.
I visited many countries but Belarus is my favorite. Love this country, beautiful green spaces, friendly people. I feel like home when I am there. Greetings from Madagascar
@@you.Multypassport How much the liberal fascists from Brussels have brainwashed you, first they are the biggest fascists, and hypocrites, as befits their greedy, evil, and fascist souls, so some countries satanize them as dictatorial, and they are more free countries than them, and some countries are really dictatorial and people are under pressure, such as Saudi Arabia and many other countries, then for the Liberal fascists they are the most democratic countries, and Citizens, if they vote for someone and want to stay and lead them for tens of years, does not mean no democracy, who are the Brussels fascists to tell the citizens what they should want, how to paint their rooms and how to decorate their houses, as you say, That is Fascism, not the other way, and to know something else these liberal fascists are the most refined so far of all fascists in history because they are the most corrupt, insidious, hypocritical, wolves dressed in lamb fur, and as I see it, you can not refute the other, and you get caught for money, how much salary, blah blah blah, that's a boy debate , you can not refuted, so you get for money hahahahahaha

Yugoslavia is more familiar than anyone else with the "democracy" of the West. But to think that the current system is good is also not true. This is a choice of two evils, where Lukashenka is the lesser evil. However, this is capitalism.
I've been to Belarus 5-6 times, in many different cities. Also, I've been to all other countries in the region like Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland. Definitely, it is the cleanest and most well-organized country in the region with probably by far the best roads and infrastructure. And, to be honest, it is one of the most good-looking countries in Europe.
I live in US and went there on vacation 4 times already. It surprised me at first how clean and cozy everything is. Usually I'd rent a car at Minsk Airport and go places. Driving on their highways is very pleasant and easy. Great service, nice people, many places to see.
I have visited Belarus twice in the past 15 months. It is a refreshingly clean modern city with many amenities and entertainment venues. Mass transportation is very efficient. Shopping at malls, grocery stores, restaurants, etc., is pretty much Westernized. Minsk is very green, the forests are lush, and the people are friendly. I admit as a child of the Cold War era I was nervous when I landed at Minsk’s airport and went through customs, but I loved Belarus and plan to visit again. I highly recommend it at a travel destination!
"Belarus ranks first for meat and milk production". I think it should be ranked first for cleanliness too or at least in top 10 . My god such utopian level of cleanliness. Being an Indian I kinda envy this aspect 😕 .
I travel to Minsk every year to see my wife’s family and so they can see their granddaughter. Is a beautiful place and very friendly people. I love it there.
Dr Ranga Kakarla most people do speak English. Unlike the United States most youth are required to learn a second language and most of them choose English.

@@barbarastepien-foad4519 You are brainwashed about Russian politics. There is nothing wrong with it. BTW I live in Crimea. And I'm very disappointed with Polish politics. I guess you have no idea about February agreement between Ukrainian president Yanukovich and the opposition signed by German, France and Polish ministers which removed the barrier (Berkut police guards) and helped the opposition to take power illegally in 2014 while the opposition had to disarm and free the government buildings according to the agreement . And surprise (!!!) Germany, France and Poland have recognised the illegal powers against of all given promises and guarantees. Now you blame Russia because Russia has protected Crimea from nazi gangs who were trained aslo in Poland.
I lived in Belarus for 34 yers, and now I have been living in US for 3 yers. Yes, in Belarus overage salary is 250$, but some of people have 500-1000-2000$ per month. Taking in account that monthly payment for a house or an apartment (in your property) is 25$ (central heating, could water, electricity, gas, maintenance) it is not so bad even if you have 250$ per month. Medicine for free. The most complicated operations in hospitals is for free. In US it costs hundred thousand dollars. You can stay in hospitals for months and it costs zero dollars. Schools for free. Children gardens are for 15$ per month. Millions people got their apartments for free from government and that is not only during USSR period, but even for last 20 yers. No private property taxes, because 1-5$ per month it is same as for free. No crimes, no racism, free access to nature everywhere (not only in rest zones) and anytime. Belarus is not a business project as any western countries or as Japanese or as US itself. Belarus is still an independent country as well and doesn't have on its territory even Russians military bases. Is it not freedom?! I am definitely going back to my homeland.
I am completely agree with you regarding the easy access to nature. I lived in NZ for some time and I was unpleasantly surprised with a plethora of fences. Private property occupied almost all the country, so you can enjoy with the nature only in small areas, unlike in Russia for example where I came back to eventually.
@@DenEz_TV I think there is a combination of main reasons. 1) There is no friendship in USA between people. Friendship is completely destroyed. Completely. What they call "friendship" in US it is no friendship, just imitation of it. 2) There is no love in US between man and woman. In US to get married beautiful woman like Melanie Tramp, you supposed to be reach as Donald Tramp. And beautiful girls in US are seeking any way how to sell herself beauty as much expensive as possible. In Belarus and Russia you can be ordinary man and have very beautiful wife. It is very simple. 3) There isn't femininity in American girls and women. They are like man. And even if you have a lucky to meet a beautiful girl/woman (which is really rare case) she will be any way without something female in herself - on hormonal level, on mindset level. 4) People don't communicate to each other in sincere and simple way in US. They communicate in artificial and superficial extra energetic manner. You never can feel yourself relax when you communicate to people here. You constantly supposed to express pseudo exciting joy . It exhausts and devalues human communication. After communication in this manner you feel yourself still hungry for real communication. 5) People are too isolated both on heart/soul/mind level and infrastructure level. They live in their houses in neighbourhoods like behind bars. And it doesn't even matter they live in reach or poor , white or black neighbourhoods. 6) There is no room in US. It sounds weird, but it is true. There isn't room where to go for a walk. In Europe or in Russia/Belarus people walk everywhere and they walk where they live. There isn't difference between downtown and countryside. In Minsk we have a lot of parks and even small forests. And nobody looks weird if he walks on street. But in US you have to have reason to walk and not to look suspicious, for example, you have to walk together with your dog, or pretend to be jogging. It's ridiculous. These are main reasons, indeed there are some another reasons.
Nice video. I share what people say. I was in Minsk for three days with three friends last February, we are all from Argentina. We found out that the city is absolutely beautiful, green, clean, interesting. The buildings are impressive and the food excellent. My friends had asked me what we were going to see in Minsk, I didn’t know what to say. To my amazement, I found it one of the cutest cities I’ve ever been to and the people are really friendly, eager to help in spite of the difference in languages. Conclusion:we want to explore more of Belarus!!!

I am an American. My great-grandfather came from the Pinsk, Belarus area when he was 16 in 1914 before the Russian Revolution really got going. My mother's side of the family is Eastern European. I am grateful for anyone who gives out information about my great-grandfather's homeland. I very much enjoy seeing videos like yours to inform me of how it is there now. I hope to go and see it someday because when I was a child he used to braid my hair (he was a barber) and tell me stories about when he was a child... about birch bark shoes, about harsh winters, and coming through Ellis Island. He knew mushrooms like a walking mushroom-o-pedia, wove wonderful baskets, made wonderful cherry liqueur, had his own garden and met my Ukrainian great-grandmother in the states and they were married for over 65 years. I wish I could get back in touch with my distant cousins in Belarus. In the late 1990's I wrote them a few letters. They still live in the same village of Slutsk.

I visited Belarus in the summer of 2019. I was astonished by its beauty, definitely the best place I've ever visited and there's no doubt if I will come again!
What do I think about Belarus ? Awesome place ! First visit in Oct 2017, I came back six times ever since and plan to do so again next year. My favorite cities are Minsk and Mogilev, even though I also liked Grodno and Brest. I love their food/drinks, the cleanliness, the cities style and parks, the security, the well kept monuments buildings and roads, women's beauty, authenticity of nature/forests, pop folk but also club music and many other things.. When I'm in Minsk or Mogilev, I can easily imagine myself moving there to live and buy a flat at reasonable price.
Beautiful parks, people, places, and architecture. I have been several times and Belarus will always be greener than the aged American grass I've always lived upon.
I'm from Czech Republic and I'm very interested in all Slavic countries. I would like to visit them all. Belarus is like the mysterious one. Nowdays tourism policy in Belarus is more free and it's becoming easier to visit the country. I hope one day my dream will come true and I'll go on a roadtrip around this beautiful country.

Thanks for your excellent excursion through Belarus. It looked well organized, and it’s natural environment was astounding, the fact the 40 % of the Country has forests and that the primeval forest still extends over such a large area shows that Capitalists have not yet exploited its natural resources. It was really interesting to see the agricultural developments and learn about Belarus industrial production. A wonderful country with warm friendly people. I lived and worked here when Belarus was part of the Soviet Union. Then the shops had less choice and the people although friendly were more reserved. So why many Belarusians are escaping from Belarus? We have many Belarusian workers in Poland. Belarusians from Western part of country travelling to Poland for shopping. Why? Cause we have more and better quality of products and many of products are cheaper than in Belarus. That's only showing how bad is situation in Belarus.
IpudI why do we have millions of Poles working in the West? Because Poland has been taken over by israel and jewish bankers. Poland is not a free country anymore. Most laws are decided in Brussels.

Great country. Been three in 2011 and it still looks great and clean. The reason why it is that way is because it hasn't been ruined by open border garbage and Lukashenko has been controlling that and I hope he continues to do so. Most of Europe is teeming with people who have no respect for the countries they move into.
I was walking in Minsk when i wanted to pull out my phone from my pocket and a hankie accidentaly fell off the sidewalk. First of all people were staring at me if I’ll leave it there or take it (obviously I took it) second of all thats when i realized how conspicuous that hankie looked on the sidewalk bc Belarus is so clean and beautiful thats even surreal for a Central/Western European. And about the dictatorship: people doesnt look that poor and sad at all.. even the opposite they are happy and they indeed not that luxurious but have their money to earn a good living. For those who keep coming with democracy: move to france or germany and enjoy the new citizens! 🇭🇺💞🇧🇾
@@user-sv3dc5nz8w I highly doubt that. Concealed carry is not legal in Belarus, nor are semi-automatic weaponry. I do own half a dozen guns, but the only thing that connects them to Belarus is my Belarusian ol' lady.

Limited amount of freedom? The tourist will never know that. The police are polite and helpful. I suppose that a visitor has no business doing political activism in a foreign country (go tell that to Soros). People seem to be quite satisfied with Lukashenko's rule. Since Belarus does not have much in energy or natural resources, which must all be imported from Russia, Belarus' options are limited. However, Russia buys everything that Belarus makes and despite the economic shortcomings, economic progress is evident everywhere. Just step into any large supermarket and you may be surprised at the selection and quality of the offerings. You won't see much "made in China", however. But that is precisely the point. If you go visiting Belarus, try their excellent Belorussian Balsam, a liquor made from vodka and roots (quite inexpensive in the supermarkets).
