There were two white e36 in this race : the one in Warsteiner livery is a 6 cilinder , the one in Bastos livery , wich won the second race, is an S14 engined stw car (ex-m3 e30 stw engine) and won because its pilot is Qvick lol !
@@Hords no, I don't think so. Most of these cars have never raced in the Belcar. As far as I know it's just the Belgian Cup for Historic racecars. Any oldtimer can participate, GT or Touringcar.
BHC had 4 classes where the cars are brought under, and a 5th guest class. Class 1 is for FIA historic passport compliant cars up to 1982. These cars need to comply to their historic spec as discribed in their FIA passes. Class 2 is for cars up to 1982 without FIA historic pass, these cars need to comply to a more lenient technical ruleset given by the BHC. Pre '72 cars can't use slick tires. 5 speed H-pattern transmissions are allowed (even when not originally fitted to the car), seqential transmissions are banned. fuel injection is only allowed if originally fitted to the car. Class 3 is virtually the same as class 2 but for cars from 1982-1990. 6 speed H-pattern transmissions are allowed (even when not originally fitted to the car), seqential transmissions are banned. Class 4 is for cars from 1991-1999, they are limited to naturally aspirated engines up to 2.5L, or single turbo if it's diesel powered. Their minimum weight is lower compared to equivalent displacement class 2-3 cars and they can run sequential transmissions is they were used in period (like the white e36 325i). Class 5 is for cars that dont comply with the regular 4 classes, but are "close". They get special permission to participate in one event and arent classified.
