Its out of season thats why its so quiet . I have been to kusadasi for many years and after the second week in october it goes very quiet until March .... enjoy your holiday 😊
Don't do much shopping now took loads back over the years never been to belek but we normally go may and September and it's quite busy then a lot of places close end of October thanks christe and qaz enjoy ❤❤
Do you think it is quieter at night because there are so many all inclusive hotels in the area that everyone is having dinner then set up for the evening entertainment????? I am glad you showed the contrast of day and night though 😍👍🏽🙂
We spoke with a few of the shop owners and it just the time of the year. A few weeks earlier the place was rammed. It will get busy again after Christmas 😊💚
Great too see the shops, better looking than the Lara beach strip,I bought a few dodgy polo shirts too compare with genuine and there’s no difference you can even scan the barcode on the label too see if there genuine and surprise they show up as genuine 🤣😂like you say no need to be wary,my wife had avoided Turkey but now loves it,apart from Antalya airport in summer it’s chaotic with all the security checks, can I ask how far is the shops from hotel could you walk or is it a short taxi ride 👍
I actually bought 1 t-shirt for £25 that would cost approx £200 in the uk and the quality is top notch too 😎 how funny the barcode worked 😂😂 you could walk would take about 15-20 mins but the pavements aren’t that great 😂😂 taxi ride was only 5 euros 🙌🏻🙌🏻
@@theincrediblewilsons thanks for the reply, the value for money available in Turkey is unbelievable so many top notch hotels to choose from, the football academies they put on look great for Seb 👍
I bought a fake Lacoste jacket for a tenner a few years ago in Constantinople (Istanbul to you young people ) When i got home and compared it to one I already owned there was no discernible difference apart from the €90 extra in price..
I struggled with the vendors pushiness last week, literally blocking my path, like I was desperate for a pack of knockoff boxers Got a bit much walking around, I did want to buy a repro AP watch, but the shopkeepers were too much like hard work, I've seen subtler lookee lookee men in Africa
We found they wasn’t too pushy but maybe it was because there was a large group of 10 people. I saw some of the watches they were awesome! There were some lovely Rolex watches too! Thank for watching 😎
@@theincrediblewilsons I wanted a Audemars Piquet copy, left my watch behind because I assumed I'd get one, but careful browsing of the shops was impossible, despite there being many of them, it might have been because it was out of season, we were pretty much the only tourists to be seen and came in, therefore, for concentrated scrutiny, I literally had three guys leap to their feet outside their knock off pants shop, one to our side, one holding my partners arm and one blocking my path with his outstretched palms on my shoulders. Thankfully I'm pretty big and grumpy looking and a bit of a bark got them to retreat, but I can see how it would be threatening....and, in truth, I don't mind hawkers, and I understand there's a lot of shops doing the same thing...and I know that no harm is meant..but it gets annoying. We sat down by the ruins and a guy from one of the restaurants came over with his menu and read it to us, ALL of it, for 20 minutes lol Outside of tourist areas, stopping to shop or at a roadside restaurant is absolutely fine. And, as you say, when there's a crowd of you, or more "marks" around, it would dilute the experience a bit lol
