Bit late with my comment but here goes. Hope you all enjoyed this video and I'm sorry it didn't go out till today, I'd wanted it to be released along side the airport but that wasn't possible after a day full issues with my recordings and other factors. Tell me what you think of the airport below, I've already seen a lot of you have bought it so it must be a winner 😊 Also one of my viewers has pointed out that Orbx show £17 but after logging into purchase it the price jumps to over £20. I rarely comment on videos anymore, but I bought this addon a few weeks ago as this is my local airport that I’m always flying in and out of, and I was genuinely shocked how realistic it was, I haven’t flown out of there for years but I was in the area not too long ago and the buildings outside the airport are true to life The inside of the terminal seems pretty much bang on, I know someone who used to work in one of the shops and the photos they shared looked the same as the game I normally don’t pay for addons, but this addon is so amazing that it’s 100% worth the money and I do recommend it!

These airports are getting better and better, it's also worth noting that Pyreegue are currently updating Belfast with a custom GSX Pro profile meaning if users have the GSX add-on they will get authentic passengers boarding with doors that open at the terminal out on the apron. @@Tappedouter2002 I've had a mess about with it, got a few crashes to desktop and blamed it on GSX but it's actually the sim, currently a lot of users having this crash. GSX still needs a bit of tweaking but very promising from both a hardcord simmers perspective and content creators too.

I'm rarely blown away. But this did it for me. You compliment these incredible product so well! Although scenery at this level sells itself, I'm absolutely bought into the way your present them, highlighting details that justify the payware market, and showcasing the best of the best scenery designers. I'm a big fan of realism, which you've really highlighted here. Stained textures. Scratched glass. The realistic ambiance and no compromise anywhere. These presentations are artwork in their own right, go into incredible detail, and worth every second of viewing them end to end. In the 2 videos I've seen, I was ready to subscribe quite early on. Wonderful review! In my opinion, this is the most realistic airport ever released for any flight simulator. Magically, it’s also very FPS friendly. I fly with simulators since 1990 and I cannot believe we came so far. This gem, paired with an aircraft such as PMDG 737, is a dream come true.

You have some amazing skill’s and your passion to produce these videos really shines through! I actually will be making other content for other addons, I've found that I love to produce Cinematic videos so I'm going to do some featuring sceneries but also aircraft available for the sim starting with a unreleased business jet coming to the sim later this year. I think Pyreegue wanted to give the RAF part some love to and possibly practice some cargo area parts for their next Airport which is a pretty big UK cargo hub 😉 but yeah I'd actually love them to do Belfast City.
@@PracticallyAviation EGNX I take it? City airport would be nice, wouldn't take much. I double trips to Ikea with a bit plane spotting, when the wife isn't with me. The top level of the Ikea carpark overlooks and is parallel to the runway. Mostly turboprops though.

Yes, I was in Pyreegue's Edinburgh airport yesterday and going to Glasgow today. They are both still fantastic, but I'd love the animated people to be added to them.
Yeah me and Kevin were saying Digital Designs for example need to revisit Liverpool and upgrade to the standard of their new Lyon, I think more and more Devs are revisiting their earlier sceneries to upgrade them, I know FlightBeam are going back and upgrading some of their older work. I was speaking to Digital Design the other day and they have discussed going back to upgrade airports. Excellent work from Pyreegue, their next Airport is going to be a big one, much anticipated by the community this one 😉

From my experience of flying here the control centre on the roof is the ground control centre and the one with the fire station below is the main ATC centre but amazing pack

This was superb Brian, outstanding cinematography and narration. It's an incredible acomplishment from Pyreegue that the three best airports in Great Britain are undisputedly the three that they have done. Edinburgh, Glasgow and now Belfast. Even more impressive to me is that they are all minor, relatively uninteresting airports, they create masterpieces out of mediocrity, and presumably without even visiting the real world locations, being Ukranian? They would be my number one pick to cover my local Exeter Airport for sure.

Your absolutely spot on, the research Pyreegue has done to create such a convincing replica without actually visiting there is insane. I'd love to see Pyreegue do some USA airports but mostly I'm hoping for a new Manchester, no disrespect at all to Macco Simulations but it was unfinished in my opinion, lots of areas not modelled etc, I'd like to see Manchester in stunning detail like this. Can't wait to see their next Airport

First of all, thanks for a tremendous review. Very positive and comprehensive. As for the airport, well I was impressed when Aerosoft released Brussels, but that is nothing compared to this effort. A new standard has been set for realism. I look forward to other airports this developer releases. Perhaps they will also update airports they already released as well.
Hi Dennis, I've actually been discussing developers upgrading their older sceneries with a few people, it's definitely something I'd love to see. This airport definitely sets a new standard and although I'm yet to see Brussels with my eyes, even though I have it installed, I can say this is very impressive. At some point I plan to do one of my before and after comparison video for Brussels but I'm excited for people to see what Pyreegue do next, people are gonna really love it 😉
@@PracticallyAviation I recently purchased KIND (Indianapolis) by DominicDesign Team and it also has some admirable interiors and animated people. I was not expecting to see that but was pleasantly surprised to see it. I would say that this type of detail is the wave of the future as far as detailed airports would be concerned. Wished my home airport (N68) would have the same treatment 😀
@@Topcat1952 Yeah the Dominic Design Team do a brilliant version of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, the terminal and interior are incredible there too. I reviewed that last week and it was incredible to see the people walking around the terminal from the flight deck, it added so much realism.
Amazingly done. Even looking for any problems, all i can think is that the A400M is a touch too shiny & there's probably too many white parked cars ha that's it.
Hi Dave, don't worry I also looked around but even a few days before release Pyreegue was sending me new versions that fixed very some details, that was amazing quality control. I think the A400 doesn't match the colour of the real one correctly I do agree but still amazing to see it parked up there. I will be honest I was far to impressed by the real life car models to notice the colours 🤣
Really good point Paul, I know Drzewiecki has started doing this with their sceneries and are in the middle of making Newark Airport so I'd imagine we will see ambient terminal sounds etc. As for Belfast, it's just incredible and I plan to use the Woodgate hanger for my next cinematic trailer video which will be for an aircraft coming to the sim later this year.
@@PracticallyAviation Thanks for your reply, oddly I just tried to purchase Belfast from Orbx and was initially given the price of £17.14 then when directed to login the price jumped up to £20.57, so I have emailed there support to see whats goingg on, this has happened before.
@@pauladams8176 Yes this also happens to me, definitely report that to Orbx, does it let you purchase it without logging in? They can't charge more for people who register surely, should be the other way round 🤔

How on earth do they manage to get that much detail? I imagine you could only make it that well by actually visiting it and seeing it first-hand but that would be very difficult, especially for the military side.
Honestly mate I'm still blown away by the detail and you are right, Pyreegue are based in Ukraine and didn't visit Belfast, still mindblowing how they manage to do this.
I hope it comes to Xbox very soon, it takes Microsoft so long to process, I know Pyreegue have sent it to MS for the Marketplace so it shouldn't be too far off. From what I've seen it's even a step up from their Edinburgh scenery, I'm going to be doing a video for Edinburgh soon even though its an older one. Cheers Adrian, all the best buddy 👍

@@PracticallyAviation Get as carried away as you like, mate - your videos do Pyreegue's work justice. Do you know if the ability to switch off static aircraft will be introduced for airports already released and/or future releases? (I assume it's only for Pyreegue's airports?)
@@richavery66 Some airports on Orbx Central let you enable/disable static aircraft, not sure which ones these are but I remember a few I've been able to do this too, if you have Orbx software installed check your purchases and it will say configure at the top, usually this means static aircraft options.

It's incredible, Pyreegue have submitted it to Microsoft and their usual turn around for Marketplace content is 2-4 weeks I believe, hopefully it's quicker as I know a lot of people are asking for this on Xbox.
Amazing these are the sceneries you want in your sim, so much garbage money grabbing developers, these guys setting the benchmark on professional level scenery .
Absolutely agree Jarrod! Pyreegue have even started making GSX Pro enhancements to Belfast meaning passengers will actually come out of the terminal and around the safety barriers on the apron.
@@PracticallyAviation aye there isn't one sadly. If there was it would transform the airport in to a decent one. The people who own and run it don't give two hoots about passengers or what services they are. Most people tend to go down to Dublin and fly from there as it has a proper airport with lots of facilities. Belfast sadly isn't really a decent airport.

Hi, glad you are enjoying the amazing Airport. The helicopter you see at the end is actually the Airbus H145 payware from Hype Performance Group, it was available before Helicopters were officially introduced into the sim, it's amazing and well worth the purchase.
I got into MSFS through being a fan of VR and Google Earth VR for virtual traveling. With a 3090 and a VR headset exploring real world locations in this level of detail is probably the high point of computer technology for me. Yesterday I flew from Pyreguee's Edinburgh, spent an hour looking around in VR then flew to Cumbernauld airport, landing in a field to take a day trip to Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument on the way. Maybe not fun for everyone but for me it's simply magical. Can't wait to visit Belfast Airport.
I need to do this, just wish I had a better VR, got my Quest 2 but may still explore Belfast with this. Love this comment Kevin, I have a good balance of flying but also checking out the scenery.
As mentioned performance at this airport is amazing, Pyreegue have done a fantastic job optimising this scenery and I do understand the thoughts about interiors and areas that won't be explored by most people but unless the airport is struggling with frames etc then I'd say it extra detail for your money and make great videos and screenshots. If developers however sacrifice performance for interiors then I'm totally against it and will make sure my review reflects this.
Hi Graeme, Pyreegue submitted to Microsoft before it launched on Orbx, it can take up to a month sometimes longer for Microsoft to process it and make it available on their Marketplace. Hopefully not too much longer now as I know there are a lot of people wanting this for Xbox.
Wow this is actually something I missed from my review, good job commenting on this. I did say in my video Pyreegue must be using magic because the performance with all that detail is unreal.
@@PracticallyAviation i get it immediately after your video. i guess there two factor of that incredible performance for such a complex airport. first is author just genius, and second is around airport nothing heavy sceneries... that's why i love islands sceneries too, there devs can create super quality scenery without any trouble for smoothness
@@einherz Agreed, the developer definitely has some secret to great performance optimisation, I was shocked how smooth it was, surely all the custom cars in the car park should have made the frame rate but it didn't 😳
Wow! A stunning add on. The white lines on the ground would not be accurate at all. They spend no money upkeeping this airport so the carparks are disgraceful. If only in reality this airport looked as good as this it would be great as it is an awful airport if you are a passenger. They have made the airport looks so nice, but in reality it rewlly isn't. It is a dirty, poorly maintained and poorly managed airport. Locally this airport is known as a joke :(
Yes I've heard it isn't the best but only ever been once in my life, I can't remember it too well unfortunately. Even so the add-on has fantastic detail and really looks high quality. 👌
