There's a lot of great scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator out there, but the bar continues to be raised by incredibly talented developers who can really work magic in the sim... and Pyreegue Dev Co is one of them!
The creator of Edinburgh Airport amongst others, his latest rendition of East Midlands Airport (EGNX) in MSFS is simply stunning and a work of art. Very well optimised, with beautiful textures and animations throughout - this is currently the best scenery every created for MSFS to date.

As awesome as I was expecting it to be, given it's from Pyreegue. To answer the question: first flight will be DHL cargo from the hub at EDDP Leipzig Halle (by Digital Design) in the JF BAe146-300QT - unless Inibuilds release the A300-600F first...

excellent coverage of the buildings at EGNX. But you didnt show us much at all of the airside scenery. Personally I'm more interested from what it would like from a pilot's viewpoint rather than seeing racing at Donnington Park, or from the cafe inside the terminal.

The cafe is visible from the apron. The races, visible on approach or take off - quite key! Same with the departures area. The power station is a key reference point in the area too - and I showed some apron textures and quite a few apron areas including cargo and the passenger stands.

Lovely detail indeed! Performance wise, I've got an RTX4090 so tough to assess fairly but I get similar performance to his Belfast scenery, maybe a tiny bit heavier - so still very good on performance and I'm able to run it in 4K60fps

i now have a 4090, but back when I had a 1050ti, the Pyreague Dev fps was always smooth running for me even on a small little gpu, they are the best at optimising performance and detail

My airport of choice, fly from there all the time even though Manchester and Leeds are closer. East Mids is considered the local airport for Sheffield. Go there a lot for work too and the DHL base. It's also my mates base of ops for Ryanair now. He was based in Ireland but has finally got his home base.

If I showed it all, it would be more than 10mins long so I fitted in as many unique features as I could in keeping with it being a preview 🙂 the night lighting is stunning and the apron lighting is very good too I just didn't include it in this because it didn't fit with the theme of the video as I was editing it all

Yep there are flies around some bins too! There's lots to see, not everything was included in the video 🙂 and no - no statics, that was VATSIM traffic - pilots on the Vatsim network filling up the apron ✈️

I'm almost in complete agreement! One question - are there any sound enhancements? That would really top it off for me. One or two developers have been able to take advantage of the ambiant sound options in MSFS2020 to just add to the ambiance. Things like passenger chat in the Terminal, certain engineering "sounds" inside hangers etc., Just wondering. But this will be an instant buy for me. Well done mate. Lee

I live just around the corner, I can't wait for this. I see the buses all the time and I'm not gonna lie, I'm so excited just to see the buses. Best of all we are getting the cooling towers, the most important visual reference in the East Midlands and missing in game. Hope things like having the resteraunts etc that I'll never see doesnt impact on Xbox though. Can't wait

Amazing scenery. Such a fast and fantastic dev, especially with the hard times he's having. On the other hand youll have a team like FlyTampa that dont manage to bring their flagship scenery over from another sim within the entire lifespan of a new simulator despite starting work before the sim even released.

@@BritishAvgeek yes, it's a Stairport scenery. I hate Stairport sceneries. They have done the Scilly Isles, Exeter and St Just, and all of them are worse than Superspud's freeware by a large margin. Their Exeter is frankly embarrassing next to the level of detail Superspud has crammed in.

Living as I do only a couple of miles away from EMA as the trouser flies, this is the most realistic and detailed airport scenery I have seen for a while and which I can relate to and compare. If anything, the tress close to the airport are a little too developed, but otherwise Wow!

Pyreegue Dev Co's sceneries just keep getting better and better! This one is yet another gem and I cannot wait to get my hands on it one when it is released. There is so much attention to detail that it really makes you feel as if you are there. Chapeau to the guys for providing a custom GSX profile as well! Is that a first, I wonder? They have also included the cooling towers at Ratdliffe-on-Soar Power Station as well as what appears to be some pseudo GT3 racing at Donington Park! Splendid! I will be taking the Cessna 172 up for a circuit or two!

@@pilot_franklin265 not sure - are you on Xbox? If you use PC I'd avoid Marketplace as much as possible as it's pretty awful half the time, Contrail and Orbx etc are much better for managing addons and keeping them up to date

@@BritishAvgeek yes indeed,, it was I :-) ....lovely to win something once in my life....and i got to fly the blackwing again. I just love where this sim is going and what some dev's add to this feel of immersion. Also a big shout-out to content-creators like yourself, who brings us the best and latest news but also manage to teach us so much how to fly certain planes and explain procedures. It makes my life so much easier to watch some well made tutorials to get a good headstart. Kudos to you !

when I first loaded in and began exploring I was speechless for a good while! I think I sat watching the race cars for about 10 mins haha!

@@BritishAvgeek This is really the best I have ever seen - cannot wait to get it......by the way THE airport I travelled a lot to when I lived in the UK for a couple of years.....now many years ago. @@larskruse2433 thankyou Lars! I remember flying out of EGNX once as a kid, on Air2000 back in the day! Remember fondly boarding via steps and walking onto the apron and that was 15+ years ago!

Their other scenery is fantastic too but there's stiff competition from the likes of Drezwiecki Design, and NZA Christchurch etc. This is remarkable for sure and I think currently the best!
