Belgian carnival parade in Zottegem (Flanders) - the first carnival every year 

The first carnival of the year traditionally takes place in the city of Zottegem (East Flanders), which is known as the Gate of the Flemish Ardennes and City of Egmont, famous count whose mortal remains rest in the crypt of the parish church.
