Saw you a couple weeks ago at an SDA in Zurich/Kloten, Switzerland. Was too shy say hello. Would be awesome to see you at an SDC event next time. Also keen on what you'd think about the SDC. You've already talked about them earlier, just need to come over for a visit 😂

Hey Matt - as always a very insightful vlog of the event. Appreciate the Pro Tour events are the yardstick, the ADC doing phenomenal set-up’s and organisation, but the WDF does seem woeful in comparison. Maybe drag Mr Cornwall (aka Harsh Andy) along one weekend for a ‘Rate My Oche - WDF xyz Special’…All the best for the upcoming events buddy 👍🎯

I’ve worked in food factories in England where the water would run out and you couldn’t even flush the toilet, let alone wash your hands. You’d be surprised how poor general hygiene is worldwide, and how many people just tolerate it because people are trained not to speak up Additionally, even when hand washing is provided, less than half of people actually use it, way less than half. People are gross Don’t forget, porta toilets, or any toilets, only get disgusting because people abuse them. I went to a family wedding last weekend where the couple hired porta toilets, and by the end of the night they were pristine, because we treated them with respect. When people use things they don’t own they become animals.

I would absolutely recommend you to go to Sweden in a few weeks. Great venue, great hotel and a great tournament. 30 minutes from Copenhagen airport to Malmø, then a few minutes walk to the hotel 👌🏻

This is going to be a weird comment: I am desperately looking for a spare part for the Torus 100 lighting system, precisely the board-clip. I wrote to dartshops, looked online but there seems to be no chance to get one. Anybody having any better idea on how to get one? Maybe even you, Matthew, being a Mission-Player? Hey Edgar, speaking of Belgian Darts ... did you know world top 5 and Current European Champion Women's Ice Skating Loena Hendricks is crazy about darts and started to compete in Tournaments recently?

There are indeed going to be discrepencies. Bad toilets though are a disgrace, it just shows (to me) how the organizers care about people. Thank God I'm bad at darts, that stops me from deciding no to go to that tournament :D Keep practicing, forget about vids for a while, in as much as I like them, it's time when you are not on the board :) I'm looking forward to seeing you winning matches at World ch.

For the last 16, at least, they should have a dedicated referee/marker. Makes everything seem much more professional.

Great video Matt. Let's hope you are listened to. We loved Switazerland and they proved it can be done correctly. As you mentioned before, a WDF official at every event should be compulsory and they can advise the organisers where they are going wrong and put in place quick fixes. Use events like Switzerland as a benchmark.

Amazing vlog as always Matt that's shocking. I play in a local league and it's well run . When it comes to finals nights for singles and doubles merits house champion Christmas knock out and the end of season awards they ask for volunteers to mark the first game then the losers mark there after . Wdf need to take a page from the ADC and improve their events

You know Matt, they are trying to get a Euro tour in Belgium... If you noticed, on Dimi VDB's shirt, sponsor VTM2 is broadcasting all the TV events for the PDC in Belgium... They started a dart academy... To get more (good) players true Q School... Under the wings of the good old "Sherrif" Eric Clarijs... 2024 is the first year ever to see 7 tour card holders for Belgium... Hope to see more next year... Also a guy named MVG would love to play in Antwerp ;-)

Would like to see a Premier League night in Belgium. They've had the same cities for a few years now, so hopefully they bring Antwerp(?) in when the current deals run out. Too many in England. Obviously not ideal if Dimitri isn't in the lineup, but I reckon there would be a great chance of filling an arena anyway.

1st world problems with regards to toilets. I'd just be glad there is a place to relieve myself. I've used disgusting train station toilets but as I was so desperate was quite happy to use them.
