CIAO
The person who owned these beautiful cars was both saintly (for keeping them) and evil ( for not looking after them). Compare the 1961 Bertone Sprint Special with today's Touring of Milan, Disco Volante. Time doesn't seem to have any effect on wonderful design.
Congratulations on well executed repairs and revivals,to see such magnificent memories revitalised to such an exquisite degree is truly heart warming to an old mechanic and true lover of the craft of automobile creation.Thank you.
this is a fantastic film its also an educating video i look forward to your next expeidition and hope youwill you be covering future finds i enjoy all your work its thebest on youtube thank you
I don't normally comment on any videos but these are six stunning cars owned a Alfasud for a short time enyone how has not driven a older car should it's not point and press the throttle it takes a lot of skill and observation to do the car's justice. THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THESE CLASSICS
Just incredible!! I don't know who put this together but wow it should win awards for the video as well the wonder of the house then the majesty of the cars!! So excellent!!
Thank you Mr the ex stig , you've made an excellent video . Can't believe that some abandoned not only those great cars but also that beautiful house , hope the house got rescued too .
Don't you just love the people that think that they are awesome producer showing you things that have appolusly nothing to do with what you really want to see.
These are the golden eggs that have been forgotten in the henhouse and the dust of time has preserved them. I can well imagine that Doctore Sata Puglia is sitting in one of the cars.
I can imagine the guy's who had to remove the rear window on the Speciale. Special care and lot's of sweat to not break it! ... If it breaks, well, you can't call Carglass to have them replace it the same day!
what happened to the aluminium monoposto that was not in the vault but upstairs, that was the rarest thing that was there...because i had discovered the cars more than 10 years ago, there were also ferrari speed boats in the castle, and there were two of the giuli sprint speciale, one was still in good condition, which was not down in the vault either, i still have many photos
Were any of these cars a Veloce? I would like to add them to the registers including the Sprint Speciale's. How do I get in touch with the current owners of these cars?
Tartarian building. It is itself a secret treasure. But unlike the cars, it is unfortunately not appreciated for its TRUE historical value. One day people will appreciate the lost Tartarian civilisation that was here just before we were but not mentioned in the history books.
The Desmaisieres brothers (Michel and Ricardo) they were enthusiast collectors of Alfa Romeo cars. Michel was a keen racer and raced on the Zolder Circuit at the occasion of the TAC (Telrlaemen Auto Club). In 1964 he raced a prototype, known as ‘Le Bolide', powered by a Constantin Supercharger Fiat 1100 engine which finished in fourteenth place, that very car (No9) was also discovered abandoned for decades in a separate out-building next to the castle.
Time. These cars did come to a point in their lives where they were the $500 beater car and may have been collected as such. As for the castle. the old aristocracies of the world have mostly died out due to later generations screwing up what their families gave them. We're lucky if a family business lasts 2-3 generations anymore, so an ancient family castle left to fail isn't really that surprising.
Very true, but surely there should be ways to save these buildings, convert them to apartments, hotels, offices. We see it regularly, buildings are left, weather and vandals get to work then millions get spent bringing them back or it costs a fortune to get them removed
you put this in some bad words it just might to be bad government.s decisions You know the socialist party or tarde changes not to forget war.s so do not be so quick to blame the owners I my self have a collection like that also decaying cars not as common as those on the movie Uoercastle is government property to day but you are correct in some way
@@corneilcorneil This is reality, don't you like it? It's not my problem. I think of future generations as our ancestors thought of us. I am the past, the present and the future. And you?
@@karel-de-Grote, you accuse the owner of neglect while you don't know his situation at all. He can e.g. have been dead for thirty years alreasy, that's what it's about. If you do not understand your own messages and empty claims and would like to give derogatory comments about strangers, then something is structurally wrong with you. Have fun with your frustrations.
Tommaso, qualche volta vedo una guarnizione di gomma intorno allo scudo centrale: NON ESISTE. Pinifarina aveva delle purezze ineguagliate. le opere d'arte, come giustamente dici, devono essere lasciate tali e quali. CIAO.
Did you just drag them out or you hade approval from the owners? Who ever had them in that basement was working on them. On 2 at least engines were out. Resale or restauration that lost restaurator or fonds. I feel sorry for the guy that didnt manage to lift them to theyr glory in his lifetime
