Hello , Thanks for the video. Very informative. I have a few questions regarding the Family visa. 1. Did you have to arrange for Initial Accommodation like hotel Bookings , what should be the duration of the initial accommodation, in case of Hotel Booking? 2. Ugh!! We are currently going through the process.. By 'we' I meant my husband, but I had to tag along for the health check up and PCC, it's a real pain in the neck!! However sent hardcopies to Belgium Govt. Waiting for the SP to come up. Then VISA processing! WAY TO GO!! 🙄😊

It might cause a problem so try to get residence permit first before travelling and if he is going for more than 3-4 months he has to inform city hall about it

Is Birth and PCC apostile mandatory? Is it requiree to apostile Baby's Birth certificate too? He is 2 year old

Firstly Apostille is needed for required certificates to be recognized in other countries. So age should not matter and Apostille needs to be done if asked for baby's certificate also. For us, Apostille was mandatory for PCC and Marriage Certificate. Bruge is a small town. So only 2 major hospitals here. Gent is bigger and have more hospitals. But you should have good knowledge of Dutch.

All documents from India needs to be notarised, Apostille stamps required everywhere, even birth certificate ; marriage certificate etc ( at least that was, how it was many years ago, when I moved to Belgium)

According to me, you will need marriage certificate which is not less than 6 months old to apply for dependent visa. It is the most important certificate to get dependent visa

And if you are applying for work visa then you don't need marriage certificate but your spouse will need it for sure to get dependent visa on the basis of your work visa

I am unsure about the specifics of your situation, but in many cases, the right to a Belgian work permit will also be granted to family members (such as a spouse or child) of successful applicants who are granted Belgian residency. Hi there, can you please let me know ,like as I am primary applicant so then also need to take medical insurance or insurance mentioned or presented by company while applying for single permit that is sufficient and do visa officer at vfs ask for insurance details from Primary applicant. Also does company provide insurance for dependent or we have to purchase initially to show at vfs.Your help will be highly appreciated
