I’m considering this a sequel to Shonen Showdown after Luffy stole Naruto’s food. This is certainly one of the best ones lately.

The fact that the track's name references the "one piece is real" meme line is genius

Oda and Kishimoto wouldn't *believe* such *joy* this *grand* *beastly* track brings. This may grind some *gears* depending on how the *tail* ends, but no matter who draws the short end of the *straw, hats* off to the awesomeness of you guys!! ^^

*The Naruto VS Luffy track ! The Naruto VS Luffy track is real !* And it's an utter banger too. As many others have said the references to Shonen Showdown are great and make this song feel really nostalgic to hear. The whole track also has that feeling of "heroism" and "joyfulness" that goes well with both characters. This whole track reminds me of some of the "classic" DB tracks like, obviously, Shonen Showdown or others like Shredding Silver/Dangerous Gaze/etc... That all were really iconic and stuck with people for a while. Something that fits this as both of the franchises involved here are just that: iconic classics that stuck with people until now and for a long time to come. Also must appreciate the "pre-ending" there at 2:54-3:15 before the final guitar bit from Shonen Showdown which would signify Naruto's win given I'm pretty sure he wins the MU (which I guess Brandon decided is now Naruto's theme for DB. Does fit given the Uchihas got one for themselves) which makes for a great climax to the fight between the two before the final conclusion. It was most definitely not the track I was thinking we'd get for Halloween but it is a track that I'll be most happy to listen to quite a bit. Both franchises' styles mesh perfectly here and added to that the reference to a classic DB track makes this a fantastic track that'd be worthy of being an actual DB episode's track (even if most of the commission tracks are so that's not saying much. But this one even more so than others.) Amazing job as always.

This could really work for if Naruto VS Luffy were made into an episode, especially as a sequel to Naruto VS Ichigo.

Honestly would be really funny if Naruto’s only matchups on Death Battle are just his fellow Big 3 members. Love that you can hear Shonen Showdown, truly feels like a sequel to Naruto vs Ichigo.

This isn’t a big of a stomp as some would believe. Luffy actually matches up to Naruto pretty well until Naruto gets Sosp. They are pretty much even in terms of fighting ability and with their enhance senses (Future sight and KCM’s Emotion detection) should make speed a moot point. Luffy actually has the AP advantage on Base Naruto so he could probably defeat him without the aid of Kurama. However with him Naruto is vastly stronger and should be more durable having planetary feats under his belt. The biggest obstacle for Luffy is getting around all of Naruto’s abilities. His clones alone would be a hassle scaling to his own durability and the fact that he can make at least 2k shadow clones Luffy would have a hard time keeping up. Not to mention Stamina which Naruto fought for days on end in a war then immediately fought Sasuke in the Valley of the end. So even if Naruto couldn’t outmatch Luffy he would absoultely outlast him. Gear 5 wouldn’t be that big of a help either since Kurama avatar and multiple Bijuu bombs would shut that down. Also that time limit would be very detrimental in a fight against a stamina freak such as Naruto.

Probably gonna get alot of hate for this but here is my thoughts.... Luffy would win

THE ONE PIECE. THE ONE PIECE IS REAL!!!!

In my opinion Luffy would win. Yes, I believe Naruto has higher AP, between moon level and planet level, and that Luffy is multi continental(via statements and scaling pass Don Chinjao), however my position is that Luffy significantly outspeeds Naruto. I would put Naruto at multiple times the speed of light scaling past the light fang and the significantly power increase in Boruto that also partially scales to speed as yes, chakra increases imply speed increases, but I am unconvinced it scales the same with power in the sense of a 2 times power increase equaling a 2 times speed increase, because I would assume that there would be way more instant speed blitzes. Like with pain vs Konohamaru, shouldn't pain of speed blitzed before Konohamaru had a chance to react? Stuff like that implies to me that while it does increase speed, it isn't equivelent to AP so I can only assume these increases would multiple a few times post the end of Naruto. In contrast, Luffy could scale to Zoro pre-timeskip who dodged a flurry of light speed air projectiles from Kuma(while trying his hardest but still fatigued from the prior fight), Luffy could himself casually dodge in base form a light speed projectile from a px unit(which death battle puts I think at 13 times the speed of light, but I just lowball that and say it is light speed). You can then stack on gear 2nd which uses Soru, which is himself hitting a surface 10 times in an instant for all that force to fling him back and forth at blazing speeds, making it a 10 times increase, and I believe that gear 4th was stated somewhere to be a 3 times increase in speed and strength more than his other two gears(at the cost of the sheer stamina requirements of pure enforced haki constantly being upheld), which I would put at 30 times the speed of light through multipliers, and then you also have the general boosts of One Pieces "zenkai boosts" you get from the fights, and his haki improvements from learning advanced haki like ryou. You also have people mentioned the during timeskip movie where Luffy fought byrnndi world possibly boosts his speed a hundred or so fold due to Luffy's speed and strength midfight increasing a lot, as well as with gear 4th snakeman and whatnot. Like I think Luffy's outspeeding Naruto is evident if you take the feats and multipliers how they are represented. In terms of durability, Luffy's durability scales with his AP, Naruto characters don't properly scale. Like I am pretty sure you need chakra cloaks and stuff like that to be open to actually have significant defense from attacks, so if Naruto transforms into his higher forms he can properly tank blunt force attacks, but not without them. However, at this point even with them Luffy's ryou essentially attacks the organs themselves, bypassing sort of external durability. It like partially attacks the physical body and also the spirit or willpower of an opponent, so I do believe Luffy could bypass Naruto's durability and go straight for his organs. Yes, Naruto could heal the damage over time, but I think the pure speed and amount of times he can hit Naruto through ryou would grant him the win. Naruto's win conditions would be something like hitting Luffy with a really powerful rasenshuriken directly. This rasenshuriken would have to be itself multi-continental in durability, because even though it attacks at a cellular level, you have situations in one piece where attacks can essentially cut through metal devil fruits(which are supposed to be stronger than the regular steel) like with Zoro cutting mr 1(arguably with sheer luck of using haki), but also you have characters like Diamond Jozu sort of tanking Mihawk's sword slash in the war, and diamond is supposed to be less dense than steel. I think stuff like this implies that One piece characters, at least via haki can defend against cellular attacks, and might be more on a molecular level. on the other hand, it might even be at a smaller level given that some characters like Kizaru have a light devil fruit and essentially attack with light, but with strong enough Haki like with Rayleigh, he can interact and fight against Kizaru's light attacks. Presumably even if haki is supposed to be a hard counter to logia abilities, it still has to be able to come into contact with the logia itself to do damage, and I would therefore assume that given that haki can fight on that sort of particle level as well, but even if we don't want to go that far it should still mean that an attack being on a cellular level shouldn't be a hax that would just defeat Luffy's durability. naruto would have to shoot an attack that is just stronger than luffy's haki, AND ALSO hit him directly to take him out, which would be incredibly difficult given Luffy's speed and precognition. In contrast, luffy's win conditions are much more likely to occur as he can outspeed Naruto and land ryou hits in succession towards his organs, and if he does it enough it could probably be sufficient to overtax his healing factor. i mean Naruto couldn't heal his arm after that last fight with sasuke, so there is probably a limit.

This is a match up I've been expecting for a while.

All things Luffy will do in this battle because i know crap about Naruto and a lot about Luffy 0:27 Luffy uses all this base attacks 0:42 Luffy goes gear second to keep up with shadow clones 1:30 Luffy starts using armament haki for a red hawk 1:40 Luffy enters gear third to knock out gamabunta and to blow naruto back with elephant gun 2:12 Luffy gets overwhelmed by Naruto’s sage form, so he switches to gear fourth bounceman to deal heavy damage to naruto. Naruto is about to use a strong attack so Luffy switches to tankman to tank the hit with ease, and switch to snakeman for an extra speed boost. 2:35 Naruto runs out of options and goes sage of the 6th paths mode to completely wash Luffy, only for Snakeman to go “That’s…SO COOL-“ before getting hit with an attack a normal human (or ichigo ;) )would die from. 2:44 Naruto walkz off thinking himself victorious only to here a BOOM! Sound, only to see the same man he was once fighting throw his head back and laugh while flying in the air. Luffy had gone gear 5 god mode. Naruto goes “Who…are you??” And luffy smiles and goes “I’m monkey D. Luffy, the man who’s gonna be king of the pirates!” 2:52 Naruto smiles, as the battle is far from over. Naruto summons a big ultra big ball Rasenshuriken, and hurles it at luffy, only for gear 5 to grab it and dribble it like a basketball and stretch it and use it like a jump rope, before blowing it up like a balloon like kid buu and hurdling it back at naruto 3:38 Naruto is hit by the attack and shouts “SCREW YOU, BASTARD!!” In homage to Naruto vs Ichigo 3:48 Luffy goes back in base form and wanders off to find some meat

*Naruto and Sasuke are walking down a path thinking about the ramen they're going to be eating* Naruto: Don't worry Sasuke I will pay for the ramen this time, believe me. Sasuke: You better, I'm not wasting money for something you could pay for yourself. *Naruto and Sasuke sit on the chairs waiting for the man who serves the food. The man comes and Naruto orders the ramen. Naruto and Sasuke get their chopsticks when an arm comes out of nowhere and swipes their food* Naruto: What the.... Luffy: That was delicious. Zoro: You didn't have to steal that. Ussop: Yeah we have gold now. Luffy: I just didn't feel like waiting. *Naruto and Sasuke turn around to see a boy with a straw hat smiling* Naruto: Hey straw hat, that's our food. Luffy: Sorry, I was hungry. Sasuke: You'll pay for that. Naruto: No Sasuke, I will handle this. Naruto: Never eat our food. *Punch* Luffy: That was cool, but you missed. Naruto: I'll show you-*Naruto kicks and lunges a punch at Luffy but Luffy dodges everything* Luffy: You should work on your aim. *Naruto throws a ninja star at Luffy. Luffy laughs and dodges. Naruto throws more ninja stars at Luffy. Luffy's rubber-like body bounces the ninja stars off of his body* Naruto: What are you, a monster? Luffy: Monster, I've learned gears much stronger than monsters. *Naruto jumps at Luffy then kicks him repeatedly. Luffy stretches his arm out* Luffy: Gum-Gum Pistol! *Luffy launches Naruto through a building then Naruto falls on to the ground* Luffy: Well, that takes care of that. *Naruto jumps off of the ground and boosts off a building then hits Luffy in the head but it does nothing. Luffy turns around to see Naruto* Luffy: Hehehehe. Naruto: Jutsu! *Naruto splits himself into multiple clones and all of them attack Luffy at once* Luffy: Cool, let's see how you hold up. *One of the Naruto clones kicks Luffy in the back and then another one. Luffy tries to hit Naruto but one of the clones punch Luffy and hold him down. Luffy gets repeatedly kicked in the chest then thrown into a building* Naruto: Rasengan! *The ground explodes and turns into nothing but dust in the air* Luffy: Ugh. Naruto: Looks like you're done. *Naruto and his clones punch Luffy at the same time. Luffy gets angry and does another attack* Luffy: Gum-Gum Bazooka! *Two of the clones get hit but the other ones attack Luffy at the same time* Luffy: Alright, you asked for it. Gum-Gum Whip! *Luffy's leg hits a bunch of clones and Luffy goes for another attack which hits another clone. Luffy does the same attack which takes out more of the clones* Naruto: Why, you won't win. *Naruto unleashes more clones towards Luffy* Luffy: Oh no you don't, Gum-Gum Gatling! *Luffy sends a barrage of punches and each of the fists hits a clone. Each fists that Luffy sends hits a Naruto clone. Eventually, a punch hits the original version of Naruto and all the clones disappear* Luffy: Alright, sorry to spoil your fun. Naruto: I'm not done yet. *A red light appears out of nowhere and Naruto turns into his One-tailed Cloak form* Naruto: I'm not losing. *Naruto claws Luffy and then punches him to a building. Naruto grabs Luffy and throws him to the ground. Luffy tries to hit Naruto but Naruto dodges and unleashes more of his punches to Luffy. Luffy tries to run but Naruto grabs Luffy and uppercuts him into the air. Naruto hits Luffy with a barrage of his fists. Luffy falls faintly on to the floor while Naruto stands up proudly in triumph* Naruto: Give up yet? Luffy: Give up, I just started. Luffy: Second Gear. *Luffy turns red and smoke comes out of his body. Luffy sprints towards Naruto and moves quickly behind him then Luffy punches Naruto to the air then punches him even more. Luffy unleashes his Gum-Gum Whip and it hits Naruto directly then Naruto is spiked down into the ground* Luffy: Gum-Gum Gatling! *Luffy hits a barrage of fists and all the fists hit Naruto directly in the chest. Naruto yells in pain but is cut off when Luffy grabs Naruto and throws him to a desert* Naruto: I won't lose. Not now, not ever. *Naruto turns into his Four-Tail Version 2 form* Naruto: Try this in for size. *Luffy arrives to the desert* Luffy: My turn. *Luffy puts his thumb into his mouth and blows into it. Luffy's rubber-like hand grows into a giant boulder-like fists. Naruto and Luffy, ready for their attacks* Luffy: GUM-GUM.... Naruto: Ras...... Luffy: ...... ROCKET!!! Naruto: ENGAN!! *Luffy unleashes a giant hand that goes flying to Naruto. At the same time, Naruto fires a giant ball of purple light of energy towards Luffy. Luffy and Naruto's attacks hit in the middle and create a bright light surrounding the desert and the city near. The bright light goes away and shows Naruto and Luffy on the ground with bleeding faces* Naruto: I think we went overboard with our attacks. Luffy: I guess we're both very strong. *Naruto and Luffy stand up smiling proudly. Naruto turns into his Nine-Tails Chakra form and Luffy turns into his BoundMan form* Luffy: Fourth gear, BoundMan. *Luffy's rubber-like body turns big and his hands turn red. Naruto's body goes bright yellow with lighted eyes. Luffy's hands go red and clear with a cross on his body* Luffy: Gum-Gum Gatling! Naruto: Jutsu! You're going down! *Luffy unleashes a barrage of fists while Naruto brings out a dozen clones to attack. Clones get hit by Luffy's punches while some of the clones manage to reach Luffy. The clones grab a hold of Luffy but they also bounce. More clones come out and manage to hold down Luffy* Luffy: Let go of me! Naruto: Ultra BIG BALL RASENGAN!! *A huge ball of blue light forms above if Luffy and Naruto throws it at Luffy. Luffy shakes off the clones and throws his own attack to defend himself* Luffy: GUM-GUM JET CULVERIN!! *Luffy's attack does nothing as Naruto's Ultra Big Ball Rasengan beats Luffy's attack and hits Luffy* Luffy: Ahhhh!! *A huge white bright light comes out and covers half of the Earth. The white light disappears and shows Naruto breathing heavily* Naruto: Finally, it's over. About time. *Naruto hears a war cry in the distance* Luffy: Gear 5! *Naruto turns around to see a white Luffy with white light smoke around his body and laughing at the same time* Luffy: Sorry, but I have to win. GUM-GUM JET CULVERIN!!! *Luffy hits a strong attack straight to the face and down to the ground* Luffy: What a hit! *Naruto punches Luffy straight to space and right through the moon. Naruto is now in his Baryon form* Naruto and Luffy: IT'S TIME TO END THIS NOW!!!!!! *Naruto gets his Super Ultra Big Ball Rasengan ready while Luffy aims his Gum-Gum Gatling* Naruto: SUPER ULTRA BIG BALL RASENGAN!!!! Luffy: GUM-GUM GATLING!!!!!! *Both Naruto and Luffy's attack hit in the middle and a bright light formed surrounding the entire sun. A while past and the bright light goes away. Luffy is seen on the floor with his entire body bleeding. His clothes were half shredded with mostly fire on them* Luffy: Did I win? *Luffy turns around to see Naruto's skeleton that's burning with flames around his lifeless body* Luffy: Alright, I won! Sanji: Come one Luffy, we have things to do. Luffy: Coming! *Luffy wins. The battle ends*
