I am a backslider for many years. But even though I am a backslider who knew the truth yet fell back to sin, God did not give up on me. Maybe the Holy Spirit was going away from my body as my body is turning evil again. But every time there are verses and songs about God and Jesus, I cry to the mere sight and sound of them. As if the spirit in me who once touched the Holy Spirit before backsliding were taught to come back and remorse for the sin that I have made. I am very thankful for that. God may dislike people dishonoring him when they learned about the truth of God yet chose to live in a sinful life but He still gave chances to those people. It has been said that the backsliders are worse than the lost ones but God still have love for those who strayed their path from righteousness. The prodigal son parable is an example of that. Of course, I would be putting Jesus Christ many times on the cross just to save me from my own sin. Thanks to the presence of God that I met you in this video because I was planning to have a bible study for myself. I did not think it was possible until the people near me just requested me to do a bible study for them. I did not invite them to do it. It is God who did it through the people even though I am a backslider who acted like Jonah in the Bible. I will come back to God again in Jesus mighty name and this time, prevent myself from backsliding again.

I have just found you ministry. I am 84yrs old. Born and raised in a church. I have been blessed to walk with Jesus all my life. But to be honest, quite bent over spiritually. I believe. I believe, I believe. Help me Jesus in my unbelief. I want to run with the King of Kings. And to him. I have been led to you for a reason. Jesus has had his hand on me and I did not understand. I am so happy to find you uplifting, encouraging teaching. I spent Not 12 years in China teaching the bible and have recently returned home to Canada and have been feeling useless only attending church but not any ministry. Jesus always prayed to His God. Jesus never said, "I am God" or taught Trinity rather he said, " My Father is greater than I am. I of my own self can do nothing". Jesus never said, “I will die for the remission of your sins” or "God will become human ". Even Muslims believe and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ mentioned in the Bible. When asked about the greatest commandment, Jesus replied, "Hear O Israel! The Lord our God is one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength." Mark 12:29-30. This most important commandment (God is one and only) mentioned in the Bible by Jesus Christ should be the criterion. Ministers must be challenged on misleading statements. We cannot allow to be led around by the nose to believe in absolute nonsense (God is one in 3) which Jesus never taught. To get the correct answer, we should use our common sense and always ask the right question, "Did Jesus say that?"

I don't understand. This is not a group Bible study. There is no group discussion or input. No participation of the group at all. Very disappointing. You are just talking at the group. No give and take of ideas or inturpretations of scripture. Just a presentation of your thoughts.
