Dear Lysa TerKeurst, for some reason, your story of the caterpillars turning into moths, really touched my heart profoundly.so much so, I was reduced to tears. I see things very simplistically, & often I feel embarassed by that. I live simply, I think simply, & yet I know God has blessed me with great intelligence in many areas. I'm thinking now, that maybe I look like a moth on the outside, but in my heart, God's painting one great big butterfly! What makes me happiest is making others happy. It truly does. And that's gotta be the work of the Holy Spirit, because 39years ago, I was very, very different! I see your study dates bake to March 12, 2012...9yrs ago. Brooke must be a young woman now. I trust God has you & your family, safely tucked into the palm of His hand. Be blessed in Jesus' Name. xx

I call bullcrap. The catepillers would have died in that jar not morphed. SMH, I'm all for teaching a lesson but lying is a sin. You don't get to lie when suit you. Shame on you. Isn't this the same actress that read a script on the Hannah story. I think so. Well, there goes my search for the Lord. Thanks allot.

Actually your response is not correct as to the validity of the caterpillars living and undergoing metamorphosis into moths. I did the same “experiment” on my own as a child was able to see the whole miracle of metamorphosis. I also saw the same thing in the classroom. I know nothing of the author but your premise that she is lying in this case is not based on fact. Let’s not be so quick to judge. There is enough of this vitriol on FB and other social media. Shalom

dbeezy We cultivate about 100 caterpillars in our classroom each year. She doesn’t say if she had put holes in the jar lid,water, food, or stems in the jar. Perhaps the caterpillars were getting ready to go into metamorphosis. Yes, this is possible.

I'm not sure if you have ever been to preschool, but yes, caterpillars can indeed metamorphose when in a jar. This is how we buy them. I am a preschool teacher. Your search for the Lord does not have to end with one RU-vid video. So you don't like her style. NO need to hate. I have done several Lysa Terkeurst bible studies and I personally like her , a lot. Feel free to try Christine Caine, Steve Furtick, Lisa Harper, or Sheila Walsh. All great speakers. Do your research next time before you begin spewing hate on a good message of the Bible.
