You DO understand that the playoff atmosphere is different than the regular season atmosphere right? Do you think PP or KG would have shot this piteous? Do you think JG would have only hit 2 points? Do you think AB would have let that final shot go down? The Celtics had so many open shots that hit rim. If we hit our open shots, we would have won by 30.
Everything happen for a reason! D-Rose being out had good and bad benefits to the bulls. The bad thing is that they are playing without their star player. The good thing is that, the bulls had learned to play teamwork. When D-Rose come back, the Chicago Bulls great defense plus D-Rose offense = Final contender.
Before everyone starts arguing to each other, lemme save some of the trouble. The referees were calling terrible fouls on both teams. However, the jump-ball call towards the end of the quarter should've been a foul. Butler fouled Pierce and he should've been at the line for 2 instead of Hinrich making the game-tying shot. That one call was the game-changer. Anyone can argue it wasn't, but it WAS. The C's should've been up by 3 or 4 if Pierce would've made them and the game would've been over.
