Another great installment of the Homekit 5 Podcast. We have had similar issues with resetting our network when we had to turn off our breakers and when I've had to unplug a HPM for testing, can take a bit to get things running smoothly again. Congrats on being featured on #HomekitInsider! Had a listen to that tonight and it was great! 👏🏼

Thanks for watching! Yeah, resetting parts of a thread network is not the same as resetting a wired Ethernet setup 😆

I have a total of 37 Aqara accessories I use in my home setup. I really like their products. Very stable. I live in China and just saw them advertise the G3 camera hub, so stumbled upon your channel, as there doesn't seem to be anything out there regarding this camera yet. I use their G2H camera, and it is awesome, but it does seem that this one has a ton more features, so I might just order it and check it out. I'll let you guys know if I get it, and give some feedback.

HomeKit News just put up info on their site about the G3. Looks like it is Zigbee 3, works as a hub, uses 2.4 and 5ghz wireless to connect, etc. The price was a bit higher than I expected, but still seems like a solid option and one of the few 5ghz wireless cams I know of 🤷‍♂️
