I just got a new yearling kitty. He's pure black and I named him Pyewacket. I always thought the ending to this film was rather depressing. She got the rather drippy guy, but at the expense of her beloved cat and her powers.
I cry at this scene every time myself...only because I had my own Pyewacket and he passed on three years ago...he was my own very special cat in my life in many ways
I know how you feel, I lost my very special cat a few months ago. She was only 5 years old and developed Addison's Disease. One week she seems fine, then a week and a half she was dead. I still cry for her every day and this is something that I will never get over, I loved her so much. Big hug and I hope that it's getting easier for you.
Mauricio Garcia @NeonDark9; what's it's it you've got with speeding it up? The voices - both new Lanchester AND Ms Novak's are practically unlistenable. I'm watching (a pristine Blu-ray), just as a comparison (because EACH of your Bed, Book and Candle uploads SUFFER from this. If I hard time, if upload them MYSELF, BUT not frak with the speed/sound!!! Annoying!
This is one of my all-time favorite movie scenes, as it is very moving to see her finally reach that breaking point... But seeing Pyewacket take off so fucking fast around that corner at 1:02 just gives me the giggles.
