Bell Bullitt is true to size. I've had one for a year after i saw Adam Sandavol's great review. Excellent helmet. The Silver Iridium is the "chrome". VERY easy to change out visor...you need a quarter...i do it nightly. yours is defective...never had a rattle...7,300 miles so far... again, watch Adam's video...someone who has rode with it across country with 100s of miles.
I’ve got the Matt black bullet. Love it but would say it’s loud with wind noise. Looks amazing and fits me perfectly. Love the carbon look as well. Congrats on the 100k bro keep up the good work. 🤙🏾
I have a Bullit as well. I recommend the Bullit for riders with windshields or faring. I use my Bullit on my Harley and I use the Schuberth C4 on my Bonneville. The Bullit moves a lot of air. But on a naked bike that may get overwhelming.
I have this helmet in carbon fiber and I really love it here in Florida. There is great air circulation inside the helmet. Might not be good for vloging but I like the comfort and style. Also, the outside tab comes in black or brown. I would have expected them to put a black tab on a black helmet.
It will whistle inside the helmet...need to block the rear vent a bit..."Bernoulli effect", slow down the venting. The sound does sound like its coming from the front..and it is, but if you block the rear vent a little..you;ll be golden.
That bubble visor reminds me of that dude from Futurama 🤣 Other than that the Helmet looks rad.... A helmet you’d wanna wear to a Gentleman’s Ride 🤘🏽🇺🇸
Look forward to your review. Mine has the snaps in front, but I've had it for a few years. Visibility is amazing, and airflow under the chin bar is plentiful - almost feels like a 3/4 in that sense. Definitely noisy though. I don't have the carbon version, but I'm thinking about picking one up.
Wish I'd watched this before I ordered the L. I feel like I might need the XL. I wonder though if the shell is the same and I can't just order the liner for the XL and should fit better? Oops you answered that while I was typing. PS: I also think a small gap with the shield can be helped with a thin foam line at the bottom. One side taped. very thin.
Thx for that! First usable review about this Helmet. There are two interior versions, deluxe and normal. The normal has this click interior you mentioned that really hurts with the time (pressure points). The DLX or Deluxe are much better. Nobody says that in any review! Based on your review, i will order the carbon now. Thx!
Hope you showed how the head liner was removed, thou still loved that you showed how the Head Liner was installed. BTW, is the Rear Liner removable too? :)
I’ve got one it’s awesome so can you do the visor rattle fix. Would love to see what the fix is. I just won a new Eliminator which I t next couple weeks.
good morning friend, sorry I have a bell bullit the same but when I go to more than 120 km / hr the Flat Face Shield already vibrates a lot, it will be that I already need to replace it or so the helmet is driving a street glide, sorry my bad English hehe
I have a feeling it's gonna be one of those "separated at birth" deals with John Maxwell. Block could you do me a favor please and ask Raj how nighttime visibility is with the lane splitter tinted shield? I have the lane splitter and want the chrome mirror shield but am concerned about low light visibility. Space motorcycle cop is kinda what I'm feeling! It's all good to each thier own right?
QU13TM4N I have the lanesplitter with the chrome mirror shield, and dude, you can’t see a thing at night. I always bring my clear visor in my swingarm bag. I also have a bell bullitt with a black face shield. Same thing, always keep your clear visor close.
Too bad they can't redesign the visor and latch along with a better seal to cut down on the wind noise. I believe they released this helmet about 5 years ago so its really due for an update. They could easily make some improvements without sacrificing the style
New sub here. Enjoy the vids. Curious as to what blue tooth set up you guys use with your helmets. Wife bought a helmet with pre built in bluetooth and she can't hear anyone with volume maxed.
Not my bag dude. All power to those who like it but for me it's aesthetically just not happening. Also, not enough vents, no mid range visor lock points and what about pinhole compatibility?
I bought this exact helmet for my wife and wore it a few ride and I gotta say..... buy something else. It looks nice BUT the chin guard feels cheap and thin. I honestly think if in an accident that it would break and possibly expose the lower face/chin area. I personally think that if a 600 dollar helmet feels cheap in any way then maybe it shouldn't be 600 dollars but that's just me. In addition it doesn't seal that well, probably because of no gasket so if you get caught in the rain, it will run into the helmet. For 600 you can get a carbon helmet well beyond what the Bell Bullitt provides.
I wish there was an extremely light weight helmet that I could wear. I can't put any weight on my head due to a neck injury from a car wreck 3 years ago. They dont make a helmet light enough for me to wear.
@@countryking755 thank you. If they weigh as much as or more than a hard hat then they are to heavy. My neck can't take the weight. I will check them out and see if they will work.
I get helmets are important...but their own bowling ball bag...scratches are like scars...stick a sticker (bandaid)over them or wear the scratches (scars)like badges of honor...its shows you rode...looks like the scuba helmet from johnny quest...but much luck too you anyway
Quality over quantity. I don't know much about this specific helmet, I think it looks like shit. But one thing that usually comes with a higher price, is quality. Not safety, though sometimes, but mainly it becomes a higher quality product. More features, or more refined features, that function better and stuff like that. I prefer saving up a little longer, and buying something with higher quality, since it's in this case, something i am required by law to wear, so i want it to be very comfortable, and it needs to have the functions i want, and those functions needs to be well implemented and function without issue. And btw. You wouldn't want a carbon fiber helmet. Carbon fiber is shit for safety, though it does look good, and it doesn't weigh anything.
Face shield!!! Not Visor! Most helmets utilize a Face Shield, but 3/4 and half helmets can use a Visor because they have snaps for installing a Visor......lol.
It looks bad with the bubble visor, a little better with the flat visor. Still think it is ugly as sin no matter what. Each to their own and all that jazz.
Somebody doesn't understand basic physics. You suffer a head injury because you're head hits something. Hitting the inside of a helmet is no different than hitting a road. Your head is still hitting something. The theory behind a helmet is the cushion, not the shell. The idea being that the cushion will slow the acceleration of your head before it comes to a stop, thus minimizing the severity of the impact. The problem is if your head decelerates slower than your body, the impact is transferred to your neck. A helmet is doing nothing but trading a head injury for a neck injury. Statistics show the mortality rate is the same.
