"Bella enamorada" from El último romántico - Anthony León, Tenor (Operalia 2022 Zarzuela Prize) 

I want to share the recording of my performance at Operalia 2022 of the romanze, "Bella enamorada," from the Zarzuela, El último romántico by Reveriano Soutullo and Juan Vert. This reminds me of the greatest moment of the week, second only to winning first prize-singing this for Maestro Plácido Domingo. His voice was the one who inspired me to sing this piece, and being able to make this music with him conducting was a dream come true! And then, of course, receiving the Don Plácido Domingo Ferrer Zarzuela Prize is the best cherry on top! It was a joy to win by singing this piece in my mother tongue, representing Latin American artists worldwide! Thank you to my Cuban father and Colombian mother for inspiring me to love Spanish music! 🇨🇺🇨🇴
