Apollo is our 11-year-old, pure-bred Friesian he is a good horse for a beginner rider. He has a lovely collected canter and is a great farter. He is herd leader over Farouk who is a pure-bred Arabian horse, Farouk is 9 years old and loves galloping and is a good endurance horse. He is the Grandson of the famous Marwan Al Shaqab and then there is Princess Bella a Four-Year Old pure-bred Andalusian filly her speciality is bucking and jumping for joy.

We have had a little of the storm here but nothing to worry about, Whitby where we have two holiday lets was worse but the apartments are high on the cliff. It is awful to see how bad other places in the UK have had it and continues on.

I quite agree about taking her out on her own. Then when you do go out with another horse, she will tune in with you, not the other horse! She certainly enjoys going out, and the arena work will get better as she grows up 😊🐎

Yes and that inglux of traffic always seems to come when Bella is unsure of something I recall the when the causeway hsd water flowing

Even a far more experienced horse can hesitate at its own reflection. I remember watching one of your videos just a couple maybe three years ago you were on Apollo when he noticed "A big black horse in that car Mum, how'd it get in there??" and took a long look. Bella did well once she thought a bit 👍👍

Bella likes the variety of the trail ride. She has a mind of her own and she is not keen on the menage work, so she isn't that cooperative there. But what a difference on the Coral Ride. Plus after thinking through those scary monster vans, she walked past and will probably do so easily the next time now. She is smart & a bit stubborn. Definitely an interesting personality, our Bella! Thanks for the video.

I am finding out that Bella wants to do things her way. She doesn't care to be in the corral before her ride. She wants to skip that part! Head strong for sure. Out on her rides she's thinking all the time. 🤔 If something isn't right she won't move. She has to come to terms with whatever it is. To realize whatever it is won't hurt her. She comes to sense it's okay and continues on. ❤️🐴 Tara, 🧑‍🦳it's great you let her take the time to figure things out. It will make her trust herself and you. ❤️🐴
