Bellagio, Italy 2022 walking tour, The Pearl of lake Como
Bellagio is a village on a promontory jutting out into Lake Como, in Italy. It’s known for its cobbled lanes, elegant buildings and Villa Serbelloni Park, an 18th-century terraced garden with lake views. Nearby are the Tower of the Arts, a venue for exhibitions and performances, and the Romanesque San Giacomo Church. Close to rocky Loppia Beach, the Museum of Navigational Instruments displays sundials and compasses.
Bellagio, the Pearl of Lake Como, is famous worldwide for its beautiful villas overlooking the water (like Villa Serbelloni or Villa Melzi), but also for its small yet charming alleys, full of shops, boutiques and restaurants.
Bellagio is far more charming and its location on Lake Como is lovely. Not much nightlife except for restaurants but I don't think people go to Lake Como for the nightclubs, as it's more a place to relax and unwind. If you want bustling nightlife, go to Milan.
