I OWN A BELROY VENTURE SLING 9Lt.I love it took it on a trip Vancouver Canada to Iceland also to Greenland Norway England 🇫🇷 and back to Canada it did the job.Better than a backpack. great job Bellroy👏👏👏👏👏🇨🇦

I too have a obsession with man bags and wallets. To the point of all most becoming a hoarder. . I don’t have any bellboy products YET, but do like what I see and what they have to offer via through video demonstration s and other articles . My collection of wallets , bags will out live me. I could never wear them out

Great video! Just the review I was looking for. I have watched it more times than I care to confess 🙈 I'd been considering the 6L for some time but now I think it would be a bit short on space for my needs. Although 6L would be more than enough as my EDC, the extra space of the 9L would be more than welcome if I happen to purchase a few things on the road. Or when travelling I'd like to have a bit more space to also keep my camera AND the souvenirs that I will inevitably buy.

Omg , i have that exact same bag! I got the 6L first but it was way too small for a small camera and mini ipad etc. It looks less orange in person.

Hey thank you for your great review! One quick question, I have the classic bellroy sling and I like the capacity it has but hate the limited access through the small zipper it offers for the main compartment, find the compression system too aggressive and find organization is not enough. I find this option a good one, however I worry the look could be compromised by its massive size, how does it compare to the classic one when it comes to look and external size. I know there is a 6L version but do not want to have less capacity than I have now with the classic sling. Thank you

Thx for the great review: Weird question -> is it possible to hide this under a wide Hoody to get additional bag space while traveling with the plane? So it would be a 'invisible' third bag at the boarding gate? 😁😇

Most of the slings cross body’s will have the same strap (maybe different widths) but the backpacks have fantastically comfortable straps usually.

I’d for sure say it’s a tight fit. You basically drop it just in the main compartment. The Venture sling will still close over it and plenty of daily carry gear though. Just a bit awkward

I like the changes Bellroy made to that „compression“ mechanism / opening of the bag - never liked the older Bellroy slings because of that. 9L is already a size that would make me pick up my backpack (First gen Wandrd Prvke 21) though. Sling wise: Have a look at my „local hero“ Heimplanet. Been carrying their Sling Pocket XL for a couple of months now. What’s the watch btw? Hamilton? 🤔

I agree, this was a stretch for me to purchase at this size but I don’t regret it at all. I’ll have to check out the Heimplanet bags, I don’t have any of them! Watch is The James Brand collaboration with Timex.

Really appreciate the review, thanks so much! Any thoughts on the 6L version? Still good if your EDC isn't expansive? I'm looking to buy my first sling but feel a bit worried about the 9L being too big and the 6L being full as soon as you put a Dopper in there.

I’m a big fan of both but it really depends on your style of carry. I rarely have the 9L version completely full and would even prefer the 6L one most days I think

Nice review. The only thing not mentioned in this review that others have mentioned is the holes on either side of the zipper of the main compartment. Do you think they are an issue? How small would your stuff have to be for that to be a problem?

Yeah that’s fair. I’ve never found it to be a problem. I have several on the venture bags and all of them have been different to use but always a joy. The holes are def there but absolutely a non issue

I’m debating whether or not I should carry an alpaca sling or the Belroy ring And then also carry the bellroy city pouch. Sure which is ideal of the two combinations but I wanted to get your opinion on this? Thank you very much.

Those are two great setups. My first though is the alpaca one in leaner but the bellroy will likely carry more gear. Hope that helps!

Which Alpaka sling were you thinking of getting, they have quite a few now. The Bravo X Sling is fairly spacious, the Go Sling Pro has a different shape and is useful for cameras or tech gear, the Go Sling Mini is much flatter. There's a large Bravo sling which is very roomy but big.
