I have a set on the way. Excited to receive them next week. I too will be downsizing my gym equipment in the not too distant future, so the versatility of the adjustable bells will be a big deal.
Great review! I head the one thing about adjustable competition KBs is that they can feel uneven pending on weight you use. What’s been your experience? Also what’s your training regimen been with them? If I were to get them I wouldn’t be changing it out all the time, but definitely using it for every so often. Also if you’re outside, do ya feel comfortable dropping it on the grass? Does it still feel sturdy?
Thank you kindly, I've never used actual fixed weight comp KB so i cant really compare but between cast iron KB and these i find no difference. You can easily change where the weight sits in the head of the KB and I've never felt them being uneven or unstable. I use them mostly for Crossfit. I also use them for bodybuilding (chest flies, shoulder press, lateral raises, curls.) And they work great. I don't really change the weights that often maybe once or twice per workout and there's no issue. I love the versatility Dropping them wouldn't be a problem either. They would be like a cannonball in the grass, if you don't mind the divots then they'll be fine lol
@@Ricky-drip-go-woo I greatly appreciate your words and everything you’re sharing. Ask those good folks at bells of steel if they have a referral code. When i decide to commit I’d be happy to use ya.0
They are very smooth, the weight inside the bell doesn't budge at all, you just have to get used to the bell being bigger then a traditional cast iron KB but other then that the handle holds chalk very well and they feel good
